We were able to rest again. The titans no longer were paying attention to any of us, but neither of us had our horses so we weren't able to move from here, I didn't mind that though, now that we weren't in danger.

But something changed again, the titans stopped attacking that titan and my heart stopped, thinking that our moment of safety was over. They didn't come back for us though, their attention was now on Reiner and every single one of them charged to him. I had a feeling this was something to do with one of the titan shifters, someone must be controlling this, Eren?

I was still annoyed with Levi for even coming on this expedition, I know that his injury isn't that bad since I already weakened the female titan which changed a lot, but it still was an injury and he had now made it even worse.

Why couldn't he just sit out and let us take care of it? Well, I can't talk, because I wouldn't be able to just sit back either.

"You okay?" Levi was hiding his pain.

"Me? Are you okay? You're the injured one." I frowned at him. He was incredibly strong, but not strong enough to just ignore the pain that easily, I wasn't in perfect condition but he was in worse condition than me, yet he still tried to make it about me over him.

"I'm fine." His voice was no longer soft, it was back to how it normally was. I figured that he didn't like me asking about him, but he couldn't blame me when he looked like he was struggling that bad, which was rare for him. Normally, Levi was the one who was fine over everyone else, it is obvious he isn't used to this situation.

I stood up and looked around to see the scouts all back on their horses, getting ready to retreat. Levi used his fingers to whistle and soon enough his horse came running over. His horse must be one tough and loyal horse if its still alive and didn't take the chance to run away. Levi was in no condition to ride him though.

"Are you able to get on the horse?" I asked.

He nodded and stood up too, climbing onto his horse while I helped and made sure the horse stood still. Once Levi was on, I was then able to climb on too in front of him, putting my feet into the stirrups, being careful to not hit into Levi and cause him more pain. There wasn't a lot of space, so I was pressed against him and it made me a bit nervous, but I didn't show that.

Levi rested his head on my shoulder, wrapping his arms around my waist so he wouldn't fall off. I kicked the horse into a slow gallop so it wouldn't be too uncomfortable for Levi, but either way it still wasn't the best circumstances for him.

Since we weren't going as fast as we could, we couldn't catch up to the others and were just trailing behind as they retreated to the wall, making sure we didn't lose them.

We rode in silence and every now and then I questioned if he had fallen asleep and I would peer over my shoulder to see him with his eyes closed, looking as peaceful as ever. He looked so different when he eyes were closed, his face was finally relaxed and his hair fell in front of his face, but it didn't bother him.

Eventually we made it back to the wall and most of the scouts that survived were already on top of the wall while they were lifting up the rest of the horses.

"We made it, Levi." I smiled, knowing he probably couldn't hear me.

Once we reached the top of the wall and I saw Eren and the others safe and sound, I wasted no time running over to them. Eren was stood next to Mikasa who was laying down, injured from when she got grabbed.

"Mila!" Eren caught sight of me right before I jumped on him, wrapping my arms around him as tightly as I could. He chuckled and hugged me back as I snuggled my face into his chest, appreciating his presence.
