~(Y/n) pov~

I'm so mad.

Scratch that.

I'm so FUCKING pissed right now.

But I'm keeping a calm presence in front of Kie.

Because the moment I get to my house, I'm going to beat the absolute shit out of Topper.

Then I'm gonna leave and treat myself to ice cream.

Because that's what bad bitches do.

"Hey.", Kie spoke up.

"Yeah?", I responded.

"Are you okay?", she asked softly, "That's probably a dumb question but I wanna know how you're doing. It's just, well, I mean, a lot has happened and this is a lot to process.", she rambled.

"Kie, it's fine, really. JJ is going to be out in no time. I just need to get some things from my house. You could just drop me off. I'll bike to your house. It's fine. I'm fine.", I assured her.

"Okay if you say so. We're here.", Kie stated as she placed her car in park in front of my house.

"Thanks, Kie. I'll see you in a bit.", I said as I opened the car door and closed it behind me as I exited the vehicle.

I walked into my home calmly with my hands clenched into fists.

"(Y/n)! Honey, where have you been? I've been so worried! You never responded to any of my messages or calls.", my mom sighed.

"I've been at Kie's.", I stated firmly.

That's when my brother walked into the living room, putting on a smile as he saw me.

"(Y/n), it's good to have you back, sis.", he stated happily as he walked over to hug me.

The audacity of this motherfucker.

The audacity to act like nothing fucking happened between us.

The fucking audacity to act like he didn't beat up my friend and got the guy I like, behind bars.

I walked to him and punched him roughly in the stomach, a groan escaping him as he fell to the ground, giving me the opportunity to crawl on his chest and throw punches to his upper body.

"(Y/n)! What has gotten into you?!", my mom asked angrily.

"Oh, I dunno. Ask my fucking weak brother!", I spat.

"Sweetie, calm down.", my mom stated worriedly.

"No! He got the guy I like put behind bars for no valid reason!", I shouted.

That's when I felt someone lift me off my brother and toss me onto the ground.

"You ungrateful fucking bitch!", my stepfather spat.

"Oh, I'm the ungrateful one?!", I spat venomously, "if anything, you're the ungrateful one, Alex. I mean, come on, you get two kids and you beat the shit out of one for what? Because she's not your biological daughter? You're a shitty excuse of a father!", I yelled bitterly.
