11||Feelings

We went on the dock in the morning. I put on a cute one piece black bathing suit in case I wanna go swimming later. On the deck, JJ, Pope, and I were observing the camera, to make sure that the ROV was working underwater. John B was making faces into the camera of the underwater robotic. JJ was bugging Pope, as per usual.

"What's this?", the blond boy asked Pope.

"Hey, don't touch that. I'm trying to work out this thing.", Pope groaned.

"God bless geeks, Pope. Truly, man.", JJ praised him.

"I know Kie told me that you were on the math team, but, you sure you weren't in Robotics? Because you're good with the ROV, man.", I praised happily.

"What would we do without you to control the drones?", JJ asked curiously.

"Technically, it's not a drone. It's an ROV.", Pope stated, matter of factually.

"Shut up, shut up. It's too early for that right now. You'll make (Y/n)'s brain more tired.", JJ said, covering my ears with his hands.

I jokingly took them off.

"'More tired'? What did you guys do last night?", Pope asked.

"We stayed up all night watching a show that she recommended. We only watched half of it, though.", he said sadly.

"Mhm. He was asking me questions every five minutes.", I teased.

"How are you guys even awake right now?", Pope asked in a shocked tone.

"Determination, Pope.", JJ chuckled.

"Hey look, once we get footage of the wreck, we'll go to a lawyer in town and file a formal claim.", John B stated once he came up from underwater.

"That's bullshit. Why do we have to do that?", JJ whined.

"Well, there is a maritime salvage law.", Pope stated sternly.

"Yeah, we can't exactly just swim to the ocean floor and just scoop up the shiny things we find.", I spoke.

"I know, I know. It's just, lawyers aren't cheap, bro.", JJ groaned.

"Well, as soon as they see the footage, they'll work for a comp.", John B smirked.

"How do you know all that?", Kie asked questionably.
