Hi everyone! Author here and I wanted to say I'm back after months of author block! Now onto the story!

"I can't wait to see Sarah again! I missed her a lot!", I squealed happily in the van.
"Whatever, the Kook princess can watch her Balenziaga heels burn for all I care.", Kie grumbled.
"Kie-", I stated.
"(Y/n), you literally don't understand so don't even try to-", she interrupted.
"One, you didn't have to interrupt me. And two, what happened back then was a mis-", I spoke.
"You two, calm down. Besides, neither of you ladies are getting off.", John B stated bluntly.
"What?!", she and I exclaimed.
"Why not?!", she asked curiously.
"Well, for starters, you would start screaming at Sarah about the past and possibly try to claw her eyes out.", I said plainly.
"Not only that. I just wanna go by myself, ya know?", he replied awkwardly.
"Really?", JJ asked playfully.
"What?", John B responded.
"Nothin'", JJ replied.
"Listen, it's just a thing I wanna do, okay? I don't wanna spook Sarah with my weird, circus friends, got it?", John B spoke sternly.
"I just don't understand why we're involving her at all.", Kie started.
Neither do I, she has a valid point.
"Exactly! Please, explain to us, bro. Why is Sarah involved in this scavenger hunt?", I questioned my brother.
"Guys, we're not involving her, okay? It's just, uh, like a— a business meeting...thing.", John B answered.
"Either you and I have a different meaning of the term 'business meeting thing', or this sounds exactly like a business meeting thing.", I plainly joked.
"Promise me that there's nothing happening between you.", Kie begged.
"Kie, he's basically a grown man-", I defended him.
"Nothing is happening, Kie.", he stated seriously.
"I'm being serious, John B!", she spat.
"Okay!", he hissed.
"This isn't about you, and this isn't about us. This is about her. Dude...", she complained.
"It's like I'm watching Damon and Caroline argue for the tenth time in season three of The Vampire Diaries.", I whispered to JJ.
"Babe, I only watched three episodes of that show with you but, I think I get what you're talking about.", JJ responded as he squeezed my thigh with his hand.
"I promise.", John B responded boringly.
"Such an Emmy award winning performance.", I sarcastically cheered.
