||SEASON 3: INTRO & PLAYLIST||

(A/n: hi everyone and welcome back to BOY WONDER by yours truly, _3V3LYN! THIS IS MY MOST FAVORITE BOOK IVE WRITTEN AS OF LATE SO HERES A QUICK LIL RECAP! Y/n was a lil depressed cuz her brother and bestie died so she pushed everyone away which led to an argument with JJ. Later on in class, the Pogues find out that John B and Sarah Cameron are still alive. They're tryna get John B's name cleared since he's been charged with the murder of Sheriff Peterkin. The gang finds out that there was someone else at the tarmac and try to get him to hand over the gun that was used to kill the sheriff. Ward shows up, says "not gonna happen", and shoots the guy. The group witnesses that, y/n breaks down, Kie yells, everyone runs away. They saw the gun go down the drain so they look for it in dirty ass water. They couldn't find it so y/n goes into the sewage pipes to look for it. She finds it, but the water starts rising. Unfortunately, she drowns and dies. Good thing for her, JJ knows cpr and resurrects her while talking about their future. She wakes up and takes a shower at the cottage cuz she's stinky. Next chapter is a recap chapter so it doesn't count. The one after that, Pope gets invited to the Limbrey's, his dad's car breaks down on the way to Charleston, y/n and JJ get married. Next chapter, pope ends up at the Limbreys with his friends behind him, guard bro tells him that he's the only one allowed to go in, so he goes in. He almost gets kidnapped, y/n to the rescue, everyone gets chased down by him, they run into John b and Sarah on the bike, happy reunion, they bike away, crazy guard dude jumps on their bike, y/n kicks him off and then they eat. The next day, John B gets arrested and convicted for murder, the group tries to create a plan to break him out, no luck at all, y/n gets curious about Sarah's whereabouts, she looks around town for her, and she finds her being held underwater in a water basin by Rafe. Enraged, y/n pulls him off her, beats the shit outta him and temporarily scares him while Topper watches. Next chapter! Topper takes y/n to breakfast, they catch up on life, y/n goes to the chateau, John b hops out of his car saying he's a free man cuz the charges got dropped, Topper tries to take credit for saving Sarah but y/n calls him out for lying, JJ and y/n fuck, Pope's dad gets assaulted by Limbrey's brother, the girls chat about their love lives, Pope reveals that he's related to Denmark Tanny, Limbrey dude follows them to the dock with his sister, y/n nearly throws the key into the sea but Pope convinces her otherwise and gives them a fake key, then Ward Cameron 'dies'. The next day, (Y/n) is grieving the loss of her only father figure and reminisces her favorite memory with him: her 8th birthday and he showed up with Sarah and they gifted her a doll that she treasured. The group gets drunk and wake up hungover for school. Their teacher shows them an odd diary that belonged to Denmark Tanny that reveals more info about the cross they're searching for. Later that night, they go to a bonfire to relax and socialize but (Y/n) ends up punching lots of girls that try to get with JJ. Topper and John B fight again, (Y/n) joins in. The Pogues leave and make their own bonfire at the chateau, reminiscing about the day that (Y/n) joined the group. Without a surprise, Limbrey's brother follows them and threatens to shoot them all because he has bow hunters hidden behind bushes and they will shoot them if told to do so. (Y/n) doesn't take his warning seriously and tries to stab him in his head but he stops her by commanding a bow man to shoot at her heel, causing her to back off. Pope hands over the key in defeat. Sarah comes back to the group, which sparks a an argument between her and John B. She provides more information about the cross at her house. There, they comb over a map of OBX which marks the location of the cross. With this new information, they drive to the location. At the location, they find that the treasure is actually Tanny's wife, whose burial ground has been vandalized. They find a tree nearby that helps them find the actual location of the cross, which is a church. Ironic, isn't it? The tide pulls in, they try to drive the Twinkie through the deep water but it doesn't make it so Kie, JJ, and (Y/n) head to Kie's house and steal her dad's truck. From there, they go to JJ's house to grab more supplies. JJ gets off by himself but when he takes too long, (Y/n) looks for him and yells, finding him held against the wall by his dad. Without a choice, they take his dad to the marina. They go their separate ways after a bittersweet goodbye before his dad leaves for good. They finally leave to the Twinkie after that and it causes an argument between the two groups, which makes JJ shout about what he's feeling. Shortly after, they drive to the church and discovers that the cross is hidden in the cross beams. Pope falls down from the ceiling after being stung several times by wasps, the cross following him to the floor. The group narrowly avoids hitting the group as they all run out of the way. (Y/n) helps Pope out by pulling the stingers out of his face. Pope has an allergic reaction and the group, panicking, drives him to JJ's cousin's house for help. The cousin gives Pope a sedative which causes him to lay as still as a corpse, sending the group into a panic. He wakes up, full of energy and feeling more energetic than usual, he decides to drive them back to the church. He drives all around the roads past the speed limit which causes them to crash into a tree, everyone is fine except for a few cuts and bruises but, the truck is wrecked. Limbrey's brother passes them in a truck and they rush to the church in the Twinkie. Once they get there, the cross is missing. JJ blames himself and (Y/n) tries to calm him down but it doesn't work as he snaps at her, making her silent. They drive to Charleston but they run into the cops and Shoupe sends Kie home with one of his officers. They head to the Camerons estate and hop the fence but are stopped by an old man with a gun. (Y/n) and JJ ramble about nonsense which saves them all. When he leaves, Pope notices Rafe driving away and hops on the back of his truck. Seeing an unconscious Sarah Cameron, (Y/n) jumps on the roof of Rose's car in an effort to save her. She rolls off the roof of the car before she could get spotted by the security and sneaks into the dock. With the group, they all climb into a storage container and sneak on board to the ship. They're now all in the middle of the ocean and are planning to escape the container. JJ and (Y/n) are forced to stay behind because they're the most reckless of the group. While they're stuck there, they talk about their plans for the future. The group comes back with a new girl named Cleo. John B announces that Ward is still alive and they come up with a plan to take over the bridge. Men from the crew come close by to check the containers for stowaways but Cleo stops them and tells them to look somewhere else because there's nothing there. After downing 2 energy drinks, JJ and (Y/n) set the plan in motion by locking the crew in the hull. Once done with that, they unload the cross and Pope lifts it with a crane machine. They run out to help John B with the boat but are confronted by a man with a machete. The couple fights him off the best they could, but (Y/n) injures him and he knocks JJ out, which leads to JJ falling unconscious into the water. Enraged, (Y/n) knocks down the man, snatched the machete out of his hand, cuts his hands off, and dives in after JJ. She tries to wake him up but doesn't see any improvement and cries for help while swimming in search of her brother. John B spots them and pulls them aboard but the boat stalls as Rafe is aiming a gun at them. JJ wakes up as soon as the boat starts moving again and pulls a small prank on his wife. She explains what happened while he was unconscious and they end up at an island. While everyone is talking and laughing, she sneaks off to take a pregnancy test. She finds out that she is pregnant and is unaware of how to tell the father and worrying about what's going on around them while settling in at their new home on the island.)
