We made it to the fourth floor. We all hear a lot of muffled screams, heavy breathing, and jazz music playing going on. So we follow where the sounds are coming from. For a place that is abandoned, there have been strange situations that have been happening. Seeing bodyguards wearing suits is normal, but not in an old, dirty, and empty building. The guards say to us that we're "uninvited guests". I don't know if Agent Graves and Agent Seni noticed how peculiar all this is. But I do know that this is the most bewildering mission I've been in so far.
Now, all of us are next to the exact door where the victims are at. Bright lights are shining through the creaks. A mixture of noises bursting through from the frightened cries of help and loud jazz music. I could only imagine what is going on in there.
"I wonder what sick and twisted things this guy is doing to these people?" Agent Graves questions.
"I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels the same way," I say.
"How do we get in?" Agent Seni asks.
"Since there's no other way to get inside, we have to slowly open the door. If he starts shooting at us or traps us, then we have to be careful." I tell them.
I slowly open the door, making sure there are no creaking sounds that go off. While I'm opening the door, Agent Graves peeks through to see if the bad guy is lurking anywhere. He says "No", all he can see are the victims and a lot of party supplies.
The door is fully open now, which allows us to get inside and see what is going on. The lights did blind us for a bit as we had no clue that every light inside the room was turned on. After adjusting our eyes to the room, we notice something peculiar.
This room is different from the entirety of the building. The room is clean and fancy, while the building is dirty and old. There's a huge oval table in the room with food, drinks, candles, flowers, and the victims.
Everyone has a blue infrared scan, which means none of them are bad. The victims have no blindfolds, but their mouths are covered and they are tied up on the chairs. There are about 25 people kidnapped: 5 males, 5 women, 5 children (3 boys, 2 girls), 5 elderly (3 women, 2 men), and 5 teenagers (3 girls, 2 boys).
We're all wondering why would this guy kidnap people in almost every age range and also why so many people. Usually, criminals kidnap certain individuals whom they believe wrong them or have sick and twisted fantasies. But I doubt that he knows every single person he has kidnapped and it seems like he's not doing anything sadistic to them. But I shouldn't count my chickens, since he is still a criminal. No sane person would kidnap people, tie them up, and take them to an abandoned building.
"We made it inside the room. There are over twenty-five victims tied up." I report to Agent Snipe.
"The backup just came. So there will be enough space for the victims. The ambulance arrived just in case anyone is hurt. Save them, get them out the building, and stop the bad guy." Agent Snipe commands.
