"What happened over there, Dawn? Please, explain yourself." Kadie questions me. We are all in the car, just left the wrestling facility. The car has not started yet and everyone is waiting for my response. What am I supposed to say? I'm not comfortable talking about it. I just want to eat dinner and go home to sleep.

"I don't want to talk about it. Let's focus on the dinner we're going to eat." I try changing the conversation.

"But I just want to kno-" I interrupt my sister.

"I said I don't want to talk about it!" I raise my voice at her. Everyone in the car gasped.

"Dawn, what has gotten into you?" My father asks, not understanding why I'm being this way.

"It's nothing. Let's just eat and forget this happened." I said, not having the strength to argue with my family.

"wi nɔ go it ɛnitin te wi sɔlv wetin de apin wit yu, Dɔn. (We're not going to eat anything until we solve what's going on with you, Dawn.)" My mother said, feeling annoyed by the bickering.

"It's not that seriou-" My mother interrupts me.

"a nɔ want fɔ yɛri am. Yu tu ol fɔ ayd sikrit frɔm wi. Wi na famili, wi de tɛl wisɛf ɔltin ilɛk aw i de mɔna wi. So duya, tɔk to wi. (I don't want to hear it. You are too old to hide secrets from us. We're family, we tell each other everything no matter how troubling it is. So please, talk to us.)" She tells me. Even though I still don't feel like talking, I can't go against my mother. I love her way too much. She and everyone in my family need to know what's going on with me. Plus, she is right about me being too old to hide secrets. I hope they are understanding because I don't want to argue with my family. I sigh and suck up the negative energy surrounding me.

"I did not like how Deathbed singled me out and put me on blast like that," I reveal to them.

"That's why you're upset?" Amie asks.

"It's more than that," I respond.

"What is it then? Don't be afraid to tell us, we are here for you." My father asks, I sigh again because I have to tell them everything that happened to me in New York.

"The real reason why I decided to come back to Virginia is that there's someone or a group of individuals trying to kill me," I tell them the dark truth. They start to freak out after I tell them that.

"Who's trying to kill you?" Yamba asks.

"I don't know who's trying to kill me. I don't even know if it's one person or multiple people." I replied.

"Why is this mysterious person trying to kill you?" Kadie asks.

"I don't have the full reason, but I have a feeling that it's something that I did to someone," I said, hesitating to tell them the truth.

"What did you do?" My Father asks.

"I... I... I killed a man." I struggled to reveal that to them. The memories of that horrible incident are coming back to me and that was the last thing I wanted.
