Today is the day we all have been dreading, the day where we have to bury a fellow agent. But this was not any ordinary funeral where we bury one agent. We have to bury two agents
We had to bury Agent Leon, who got shot and killed by Jackie. We also had to bury Graves, which was shocking to everyone. I can understand why we had to bury Agent Leon since he was young and his death came out of nowhere.
However, I do not understand why we had to bury Graves. He turned against us, work for Jackie who hurt and killed a lot of agents and innocent people, and tried to kill all of us. I do not get the logic of having a funeral for him, it is basically like having a funeral for The Devil.
Agent Snipe has not told any of us why we are having a funeral for Graves. But he said that he will explain everything at this funeral. He better give a good explanation, because this was the most foolish thing he has done. I love him, but he should know better.
Right now, my family and I have made it to funeral. We are all dressed in black. The atmosphere of this funeral is filled with sadness, regret and anger. But we all stayed united since the World of Agents are a family and we needed to stick together no matter what.
I see all my spy friends; Agent Seni, Agent Rye, Agent Park, Agent Meduza, and more. We decided to sit next to them.
"Can you believe that we had to have a funeral for Graves?" I ask Seni, who is sitting next to me.
"I do not know what Agent Snipe was thinking. I just hope he does not give praise to him." Seni said. I agree with her. I hope that he does not honor him or treat him like he was a good person.
It is sad that Agent Leon was getting overshadowed by Graves. This is not good. The worst part is that his family is here, they have to sit down hear about the man who helped the woman that killed their son. Like I said before, I love Agent Snipe but this was not right.
A few minutes later, the funeral service starts and Agent Snipe went up to the podium. He does not look happy whatsoever, I also saw regret in his face. I wondered what he had to say.
"Dear ladies and gentlemen, today we to lay rest two of our fellow agents. Agent Leon and Agent Graves." He said and no one said a word or moved. There was a dreaded silence filling up the funeral home.
"Let me start off with the elephant in the room, Agent Graves. I know that all of you were questioning why was I making a funeral service for a man that betrayed us, worked for the enemy, and tried to kill us all. Well, I a lot of reasons why I was doing a funeral service for him." He mentioned. I was curious to know what was all the reasons he had for doing all this. There better be good explanations.
"We all know that Agent Graves was originally one of our agents before he went haywire. I am not praising him, but he was one of our best agents as he knew how to take out bad guys and accomplish any mission he is in." He said. Even though he was praising Graves, I could somewhat why we were having a funeral for him since he used to be a WOA Agent. But he still betrayed us, I needed more reasons.
"I was the one that handpicked him since he had a lot of hunger and grit to him. I did feel bad for him. Before he became a spy, his parents did abuse him as a child. He ended up going homeless. He even mentioned that three random guys beat him up and one guy pissed on him." He told everyone. The entire crowd is murmuring and left disgusted after he mentioned that.
I had a feeling that he was going to bring up his tragic past. I do agree with him that his background was not the best. No child should ever be abused by their parents. I felt bad that he went homeless at one point of his life. I hated that those three guys attacked and pissed on him.
However, I still do not feel like we should have had a funeral for him. Once a person betray a group of people, they should not have any sympathy or special treatment.
"I know you all are angry that I allowed Agent Graves to have a funeral. Plus, I take full responsibility of his death since I was the one who shot and killed him. But he was still a human being. Too bad he lived a tragic life. It does hurt that he lost his soul. May the lord have mercy on his soul." That was the last thing he said about Graves. I was glad he stopped talking about him.
It does suck seeing a human being die since God created people to live their lives. There was a period of time where I actually respected him. But everything he had done was unforgivable. All I had to say about Graves was that whatever he did on earth, will be questioned in heaven.
"Now, it is time for me to honor Agent Leon. He was one of the youngest agents and was still learning the ropes. But he was strong, not afraid of anything or anyone, and protected people with his life. It is heartbreaking that he died so young, because he had his whole life ahead of him. But he will forever be remembered and I salute to him." Agent Snipe said and everyone clapped and cheered. Honestly, I wish this funeral was just for Agent Leon and not Graves. I tried to understand why he wanted to include Graves, but his actions ruined any respect or honor he had for the World of Agents. But at least, he honored Agent Leon. May his soul rest in peace.
