Agent Seni, Agent Graves, the little kid, my family, and I are hiding and protecting the basement. Seni and Graves are holding their guns just in case the shooter tries to break in.
The basement does have a lot of old items we're not using anymore. The smell is not the greatest as it has a dry and dusty aroma. There's a lot of dust and trash down here.
The kid, my family, and I are hiding at a spot where no one can notice us. The spot we're hiding in is dark, I can see everyone around me but only slightly. All the lights have to be dark in the basement, so the shooter won't spot us. Seni told us to stay there until everything is taken care of.
I trust that Seni got our backs, but I can't say the same thing about Agent Graves. It's wrong to be judgmental and lose faith in someone, but his track record is not the best. After how he fought and abandoned the WOA, I can't put all my trust in him to protect us. I'm just hoping his ego and pride don't get in the way because being a spy is not a competition. It's about protecting people and defusing bad situations.
Right now, I'm still shocked to see the boy at my house. He's part of the reason why all of this is happening. I don't know if he's responsible for the shootings and murders. Honestly, I don't even know how the boy managed to find my house. The last place he was seen was in Times Square, New York. It usually takes three or four hours drive or 1-hour flight to come from New York to Virginia. I doubt that a little boy would walk all the way here. So somebody must have brought him here, but who?
"Agent Jade, Oath, Ace, Cease, and Bold, do you see any signs of the shooter?" Agent Graves asks.
"No" Agent Jade replies.
"Does anyone see someone outside? Are there neighbors around?" Agent Seni asks.
"The neighborhood is silent and no neighbors are outside." Agent Clandestine responds.
"How about Agent Leon? Are you going to leave his body outside? Is someone going to call the ambulance?" Seni asks. I was questioning about that as well. We just can't leave his dead body rotting outside.
"That's a horrible idea!" Agent Graves dismissed her, he's starting again. What's wrong with him?
"What do you mean? He may be dead, but he deserves to be buried the right way." Seni tell him, I could not agree with her more.
"I understand, but there's a shooter we need to focus on. Plus, it's dangerous calling an ambulance. We can't trust anyone. We can't leave any living soul behind." Agent Graves explains.
"Alright, whatever you say. But after we stop this shooter, we will bury Agent Leon the proper way. No agent deserves to be shot and killed like that. I feel horrible that had to even happen." She says.
The conversations stopped, which allows me to focus on the kid and my family. They all look terrified and cold. It's disgraceful that my family and this boy have to hide in a basement. It's one thing when I'm in danger, but seeing the people I care about the most in hysteria makes me sick. I can't wait for this shooter to be caught and stopped. This has to end!
