"Indigo, do not die on me!" I cried out. Graves is still shooting and none of the other agents goes near us, so that they do not get shot. Indigo and I are far apart from the rest of them. I wish I could call them for help, but I do not want anyone else getting shot.
Sadly, I am holding Agent Indigo's almost lifeless body from being shot in her stomach. She got pierced by two bullets. Luckily, I tackled her to the ground so she would not have more bullets wounds.
I need to do something fast to keep her alive because holding her will not fix anything. It is good to show comfort and try to keep things positive. But when she is bleeding out profusely after getting shot, there is no time to waste. No more agents dying on my watch.
I had to gently let go of her. My hands and clothes are covered in her blood. The house is getting even more destroyed by all bullets and blood. My heart continues to ache, but I need to focus on saving her life.
Graves is still shooting. I do not know why he is still shooting. Does he think someone will be stupid enough to get near the basement? Plus, he is just wasting his bullets.
I grab anything that is close to me that will be useful to help Indigo. I did not want to take forever finding items that will save her. If I wait any longer, she will be dead in a matter of seconds.
I went back to the same spot I left Indigo. Thankfully, she is still alive but is struggling to hold on.
I grabbed pliers, gloves, a stitch kit, paper towels, water and alcohol. The only way to keep her alive is to remove the bullet and stitch her wounds up. I am not a doctor or a nurse, but this is the only way to keep her alive.
I put on my gloves and grab the pliers. Indigo is looking at me like I am a mad woman. But I held her hand to let know everything will be alright. The pliers are inside her stomach, she feels the pain as she grips my hand hard and squirms.
I had to carefully take out the bullets, so that it would not cause anymore damage to her stomach. I managed to take out one bullet, she lets out a loud yell. That yell made Graves stop shooting and slammed the basement door hard, which allowed the rest of them to come towards us.
"Is she alright?" Agent Seni asks, feeling concerned and sad.
"We're so sorry for not being by your side, Graves would not stop shooting." Meline said.
"It is fine, I understand. I just need to pull out this last bullet and stitch her up, then she will be fine. Though, she needs to stay out of the action so that no more damages will happen to her." I tell them, keeping everyone calm.
Everyone is staying quiet and looking on as I carefully pull out the second bullet from her stomach. I do not know how Doctors are able to be comfortable with all of this. Hearing her blood squish is gross. Thankfully, I got the last bullet out. Indigo did let out a yell.
"I need someone to stitch up her wounds." I demanded.
"I will do it" Agent Meduza volunteered. I gave her all the stitching materials. I hope Agent Indigo feels better.
What should we do now?" Meline asks.
"Here's what we should do... We should attack immediately and kill them." I suggest. Everyone gasps at my response. I do not blame them for being shocked as it did come out of left field. But I am tired of letting Jackie and Graves ruin everything and cause pain to innocent people. Just waiting for the right opportunity to strike is not making anything better. It is getting people hurt and almost dying. Plus there is five healthy individuals, not including Agent Indigo who just got injured. So all five of us could take on the two of them easily.
I want to beat up Graves so badly. He deserves to be punished for all his crimes and betrayals. There was a point in time where I respected him. Now, he is a deranged person and I need to give him the beating of his life.
I march towards the basement door and bang on it hard.
"Open the door!" I yell furiously, banging on the door so hard that my right knuckle started to hurt. But I do not care anymore. I want all of this to end. "If you hate us so much, why don't you two come out and kill each other already?!"
"Dawn, I think you should stop." Jason tells me, but I did not listen.
"Open the door and let's fight. I know you two are craving to beat me up and I am ready to hurt you like you did to so many of us already!" I continued to lash out. I banged on the basement door louder, harder, and faster.
"Open the fuc-" Agent Seni and Kadie pulled me away from the door. I began to cry and scream. Snot running down my nose. I feel like a mess right now.
"Dawn, get ahead of yourself!" Seni shakes my shoulders.
"How can I, when those monsters continue to cause havoc and pain? They almost killed Agent Indigo for heaven's sakes. We should kill them and end all of this." I continue to lash out my frustrations. The urge to barge into the basement door and kill Graves and Jackie is strong.
"This is what they want. They expect all of us especially you to kill them." Seni said.
"What do you mean?" I was not understanding what she was saying.
"They want us to snap and kill them. They are torturing us to see if we will break. They want us at our weakest point, so that it is easy for them to strike. We do not want to stoop down to their level. We have to be stronger and smarter than them." She explains.
"Also, we don't want to traumatize Julian. He has already suffered a lot and we don't want to cause more harm towards him." Agent Meduza added.
"Well, what should we do to stop them? We can't just wait forever until they are out of bullets, we have to end this." I ask. I'm gaining my composure, I grab a paper towel to fix myself.
"I got an idea, but you might hate me for saying this." Jason said.
"What is it?" I ask.
"You should sacrifice yourself to them." He insisted.
