Saving Grace: The Second Story

Chapter 6

I spent the rest of my week with Colt, Alice, and Tristan. My headaches slowly started to get better with each passing day. Colt left 3 days after the bar incident and it was just me and Alice.

"Classes start tomorrow." I said.

"Yeah. There's supposed to be this huge party tonight at the Quad."

"Really? You going?"

"Uh, duh! It's the first party of the year!"

"Fine. When you getting ready?"

"Couple minutes. It's 5:00 you know. The party is at 6:00."

"Oh. I guess I'll get ready too then."

I showered and scrunched up my hair to give me natural beachy waves. I applied powder, foundation, concealer, mascara, lipgloss, and white eyeshadow. Pretty natural.

I left my hair hanging down my shoulders. I wore regular skinny jeans with a golden toned halter top. After slipping on some nude heels, me and Alice headed towards the quad.

The party was pretty cool. It was done by the school board so it obviously wouldn't be amazing.

I met a writer who didn't actually go to the school, but documented all activities and stuff for an education named Paisley, two musicians named Ethan and Garrett, a dancer named Lainey, and an actress like me named Alyssa.

The party ended kind of early, it was 11:30. Me, Alice, Alyssa, and Paisley went out for a few drinks. This time I got a Bellini and everyone else settled for Martinis.

By 12:30, I was ready to go home. I had already drunken 2 (almost 3) Bellinis. I didn't want to get drunk like last time. "I'm gonna go!" I yelled over the loud music. They were already too drunk to even notice so I caught a cab and went back to the dorm.

The one thing I absolutely hate about Juilliard, is that some classes start at 8:00 AM, and some can end at 11:00 PM. The worst part, my classes are spread out like that! My first class is at 9:00 AM and my last class is ends at 10:00 PM.On the bright side I didn't have a super rushed morning.

I'm not getting into detail with my classes, but all of it had to do acting. I should've looked this stuff through before I applied...

A Quick Note

Hi guys! If you liked me writing from Colt's point of view (POV) I plan on doing that in the next chapters, but not like I used to. I will be creating his POV in a new chapter directly after whichever chapter I'm writing through Grace's POV. So basically, I will start having "_.5" chapters. So be looking for double publishes!

I don't plan on always doing little notes like these unless it's about the book plan or my not being able to write etcetera. If you like me doing these little notes, just say so and I will probably start.
