It's funny how things work out, such a bitter irony, like a kick right to the teeth. It fell apart right from the start, but I couldn't even see the forest for the trees (I'm afraid you asked for this).

-----------------------------

*Stephanie's Point Of View.*

It's been 3 days since I got the phone call from Dylan, ever since the call I've been terrified. He knows I'm on tour with Oli and the band, it would be so easy for him to find me as he could just find out where the band is playing next, and he knows I'll be there.

The guys still don't know about the phone call, and I plan to keep it that way, I plan to keep everything about Dylan away from them. As far as Oli (and Tom) are aware, Dylan and I were dating for a little bit but simply drifted apart and so broke up. I refuse to tell them or let them know about what Dylan did to me.

As of right now I was waiting for Oli to finish packing the small overnight bag he had brought with him- the band played Cardiff last night and were doing another Cardiff show tonight so we ended up staying in a hotel, the rooms being Oli and I in one, Lee and Vegan in another and Jordan and Nicholls in the last room.

"Well, the others are already on the bus so let's go." Oli said picking up his bag and slinging it over his shoulder.

--------------------

"Well, there they are, fucking finally." Nicholls laughs as Oli and I walk onto the bus.

"Funny Nicholls." I reply sarcastically rolling my eyes at him while walking through to the bunks with Oli following me.

After placing my bag in the bunk area, I walk back into the main area where I see that the others had gone somewhere apart from Lee who had his back facing me- perfect.

Running up behind him I instantly jump onto his back which startles him at first but soon he's quickly placing his hands under my thighs to keep me up.

"Steph you actually scared the shit out of me." He breathes making me laugh slightly.

"Sorry Lee." I sigh after having stopped laughing as I rest my head on his shoulder leaning into his neck slightly. "I swear you always wear beanies."

"Yeah, I use to wear them when I was having a bad hair day which ended up being a lot and so they just kind of stuck in the end." He laughs which makes me take the beanie off his head and place it on my own. "Where have the others gone?"

"I think they said there were going down to the shop quickly to grab some food." He explains as I gently run my hands through his hair. "Stephanie what the hell are you doing?"

"Flattening your hair down." I shrug not thinking much of it "when I took your beanie off, I gave you really bad hat hair."

"Fair enough." He smirks before the two of us just stand in the middle of the room in silence, it wasn't an awkward silence though.

"What the fuck." Oli's voice then comes from the doorway of the bunks which makes me, and Lee turn to face him. "What's going on here then?"

"Nothing." I say awkwardly climbing off Lee's back.

"Why was you running your hands through Lee's hair?" Oli continues to question as he raises his eyebrows.

"I stole his beanie and gave him really bad hat hair, so I was sorting it out." I roll my eyes as the realisation hit me, Oli thinks Lee and I have a thing or may be dating. "Anyway, I'll be back." I then say before heading into the bunk area.

*Lee's Point Of View.*

"So, what's the deal with you and my sister?" Oli asks me as soon as Stephanie was out of sight and couldn't hear our conversation.

"Excuse me?" I ask back, does he really?

"What's the deal with you and my sister? the two of you seemed very close, are you dating her behind my back or something?" he questions.

"What no! Oli she's my best friend!" I gasp, I can't believe he thinks that. "Anyway, I'm not interested in dating her, especially not now, she needs friends who can help not a boyfriend."

"You're right. Sorry Lee, I know the two of you are close, I guess I just get paranoid." He sighs.

"It's cool, you're just watching out for her which is part of being her older brother." I shrug and with that Oli walks off towards the kitchen I'm guessing.

Do I like Stephanie? I mean she's my best friend yes but, I don't know.

"Lee you alright dude?" Vegan asks snapping me from my thoughts.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine." I say shaking my head slightly.

-----------------

Right now, we were at the Cardiff arena. The support act for our tour were currently doing sound check and so I was just sitting on one of the spare guitar amps backstage with my unplugged electric guitar gently plucking the strings.

"Can you teach me?" A voice them asks from behind me which makes me turn around.

Stephanie.

"Yeah of course." I smile as I move over so she can sit on the amp next to me. Once she's sat down, I hand her my guitar. "Any song preference?"

"Erm, what about True friends? I really like the riff." She smiles looking at me.

"Yeah, I mean most of the riff is played by Vegan, but I'll teach you my section." I say smiling back at her. "Okay so first you put your fingers here." I say taking hold of her left hand and placing it on the guitar neck. "Then you play these strings." I then guide her other hand to the strings that are played.

"Like this?" She asks me to which I nod.

"Yeah, then you bring your hand down to these frets and play these strings." I tell her yet again guiding her hands.

After a little while of me teaching Steph, she successfully learned the first part of the song which instantly makes her grin.

"Oh my god, I can't believe I just played that." She gasps as I laugh slightly at her as I look at the joy on her face.

This is the Stephanie I met and instantly grew to love. The smallest of things makes her smile and makes her happy. I love the way her eyes crinkle up slightly when she laughs, the way her cheeks form little dimples when she smiles.

"You just played that." I grin as I find myself staring into her eyes, honestly, I never realised how green her eyes are. Why am I thinking this? she's my best friend.

"Lee! we're on!" Vegan says running towards us which makes Steph and I snap out of whatever it was we were sharing. "Steph! I just thought, we never started season 2 of Supernatural."

"No, we didn't." she laughs slightly before handing me back my guitar.

"Supernatural?" I ask confused.

"A TV show me and Vegan have been watching." She shrugs. "Anyway, I'll see you guys later." And with that she's walking away.

"What's the deal with you two then?" Vegan then asks which makes me roll my eyes at him.

"Nothing, she's just a friend."

Seriously what has gotten into these guys? They know Stephanie and I are friends, why would we be anymore? She definitely doesn't want a relationship now with whatever happened to her, and me, I don't think I feel that way.
