A/N: As requested :)
I'm very sorry this is so late but I finally got the chance to write this. I hope it's good! It's based in a modern Battle of Hogwarts so (Y/n) has a phone for plot purpose.H/H = Hogwarts House
"This isn't the evening you promised me!" You yelled, barely bringing up a shield in time to dodge the curse thrown your way.
"Well, what did you expect?!" Hermione questioned, using the full body-bind on a Death Eater who got to close.
"Not this!"
"We're done for." Ron panicked, looking at each of you like a solution might pop up by doing so. "There's too many."
"No. We can do this." Ginny told him, eyes alight with determination.
Harry nodded. "We can't give up. Not now."
"If we don't make it out of this, I'll bloody kill you." The red-haired boy muttered.
But you knew that even if you did stick together and give it your all, you were helplessly, hilariously outnumbered. Maybe you fought to the bitter end and went out like heroes, but what would become of Hogwarts after? You couldn't leave your home in the hands of Voldemort and his band of not-so-merry men.
You looked down at the (H/H) tie around your shoulders and remembered the day the sorting hat called out that name and you found your best friends.
Your family.
You weren't just fighting for the school anymore, you were fighting for (H/H), for all the houses.
You were going to fight with the bravery of Gryffindor.
You were going to fight with the loyalty of Hufflepuff.
You were going to fight with the wit of Ravenclaw.
You were going to fight with the ambition of Slytherin.
"Someone cover me." You instructed.
Hermione obliged, bringing up the biggest and probably strongest shield you'd ever seen. But you had no time to marvel at it.
You dug around in your clothes for a phone. It was cracked and covered in dirt but one mutter of 'Reparo' and it was fixed.
"I don't think now is the right time for a social call, (Y/n)." Your friend warned, doing her best to hold the shield charm in place.
"Trust me, you'll appreciate it." You said, putting the phone to your ear as it rang.
Once... Twice... Three times...
"Stephen!" You yelled in relief. "Took your time, didn't you?"
"(Y/n), what happened?" He asked, hearing the spells being cast from both sides of the battle. "Where are you?"
"School, Great Hall. We're cornered. You remember that favor you owe me? Pay up, sorcerer boy."
"Give me five minutes."
"You have two." You ended the call just in time to see your friends looking at you like you'd grown another head. "What?"
"Who was that?" Harry asked.
"Oh, you'll see. I've got us some reinforcements."
"What kind of reinforcements?"
"Uh..." You trailed off, not sure how to describe the team. "Just wait. And Ron, don't faint."
The mentioned boy looked at you, confused. "Why would I faint?"
You didn't bother to answer and instead got back to fighting, using a mix of both offensive and defensive spells to protect yourself and your friends. Every second that passed seem to drag on and on until finally an orange spark appeared.
At the same time multiple portals opened up in the hall. Everyone stopped fighting to find who was doing it and you only smiled victoriously.
"Hogwarts..." You looked at your friends. "Meet the Avengers."
From the portals, the team emerged. You had no idea how Stephen managed to gather them all so quickly but you were the most thankful you'd ever been. The Death Eaters were so confused you could have laughed.
Tony acted first, firing a repulsor beam at one of them and sending the cloaked enemy flying into the wall with an almighty thud. Just as quickly, the fight broke out again.
"You know them?" Ginny asked after being the first one to recover from the shock.
"They're the superhero friends I'm always talking about." You said with a nod.
Just then the killing curse soared overhead and you quickly ducked, returning the blast with the knockback jinx.
"Wait, they're actually wizards?" You heard Peter gawk over the chaos.
"Focus, kid." Tony replied, looking very smug when some of the spells simply bounced off his armor.
"How about you focus?" You called over to him. "Don't get cocky."
"(Y/n), when have you ever known me to be cocky?"
"Uh... Every damn day of your life."
At the same time Hermione shouted '(Y/n)!', Steve shouted 'Stark!', causing you both to get back to the task at hand.
