You won't get all the things you want.

Though how many times you tried to have it, or, how many ways you did to achieve it.

If it's not for you, or your timing is wrong, there's no way you'll get it.

I smile as I reminisce all the memories we had—even though it was painful 'cause I didn't expect you to hurt me in every possible way—yet I hate that I don't hate you in spite of those nightmares I had experienced because of you.

But all the good and bad times, the joy and the heartbreak, it was always worth a look back.

"Momma," I looked down at my two-year old son. Goodness, he really has a same lips, nose, and eyes as yours.

I sat down in front of him. I really can see you in this child, my love. "Yes, baby?" I asked.

He pouted and looked at the hotdog stall near in the seesaw. "I'm hungry," he said.

I smile and stand up as I hold his hand and walk towards the hotdog stall to buy one for him.

I don't know what to feel.

I'm grateful to have a son like mine, but, there's a part of me that's hurting whenever I see him 'cause as what I've said, I can see you in this child. He's just like your baby version.

If it's not for you, or your timing is wrong, there's no way you'll get it.

That's what life has taught me.

Just like our story— it's beautiful, yet, it's not perfect.

Because we fell in love at an inopportune moment.
