It was drizzling slightly when Shana and Kahn awoke from their nap. The sable haired dog whined and hid into Kahn. Kahn was surprised but he gently placed a warm large hand on his companions back and rubbed it. He didn't get snarled or grumbled at, just a soft sigh of content and gentle chest scratch. They layed there content until Shana sighed and sat up.

"Take your clothes off."

Kahns brows almost disappeared into what little of a fringe he had but did what Shana asked when he saw him doing the same. Both of them were sat stark naked and Shana unconciously pulled the blanket over his lap.

"I don't feel any different looking at you..."

Kahn nodded in agreement and gently pulled on a lock of his friends fluffy sable hair. He didn't really follow what was going on until Shana nuzzled into his neck.

"Jinta said...that because we're human now...we might like things that we didn't as dogs..."

Kahn blushed deeply as Shana grabbed onto his shoulders and ground into him. Shanas eyes darkened and he buried his head into Kahns shoulder. He could feel his abdomen muscles tightening and relaxing the more he rubbed themselves together.

One of Kahns large hands twined into Shanas lengthy hair and gently pressed him to his chest. He had no idea that the feeling that was erupting from his groin and moving upwards like a slow warm fire was what had made his friend flee earlier in the day. Their breathing came in pants and soft moans escaped from anothers lips. Kahn gently pressed their foreheads together and crushed Shana to his chest.

"Please...let's stop..."

Shana hummed in soft agreement and settled down on Kahns lap. They sat there for a while until they heard Jinta calling of them. Her soft clear voice didn't disturb the peace of the garden and it left both dogs feeling somewhat soothed by the fact. Pulling on their clothes both of them walked to the house gently shouldering each other in fun. Shana giggled slightly as Kahn lifted him off the floor and plopped him back down.

However both of them were lost for words when they saw Jinta in floor length gown made from silver, white and light blue lustrous materials.

"I need you to change into some formal attire."

Shana cocked his head slightly, intrigued were as his friend just rolled his eyes.

The clothes were made of rich cotton and silks. And although Jinta tried to persuade Shana to take off his collar he refused to remove it.

"Why?"

Shana shuffled his feet slightly and looked up to the ceiling. He felt embarrassed he had to explain.

"Because it's the first thing you gave me."

Jintas eyes lit up in happiness and she smiled understandingly. Turning around to Kahn she chuckled at the state of his shirt and started to rebutton it for him. A silver locket resting in the dip of Jintas throat caught Kahns eyes and his soft fingers fumbled with the clasp to open it. Inside was a photo of Jinta and a very handsome young man. The mans eyes were a cobalt blue and his hair a blue black like that of a ravens feathers. His jaw had a strong but delicate edge to it and had quite a straight and perfect nose. His lips were thin but not thin enough to make him look cruel and the love in the couples eyes gave the photo more depth. Jinta gently took the locket from Kahns hand and clicked it closed.

"Who is he? Did he hurt you?"

Shana looked up in apprehension and tensed at the heartbroken look in his mistresses eyes. Tears threatened to make themselves know and the witch blinked them back.

"He's a long ago memory, nothing more."

Jintas soft voice carried a lingering sadness and she passed both dogs their blazers and made sure they looked presentable.

"Yes...such a handsome pair you are..."

Shana and Kahn shared a worried look behind Jintas back and followed their mistress as a horse drawn carriage pulled up.
