Jinta kept fiddling with the silver locket around her neck. She knew that both Kahn and Shana were worried about her. Their worried glances and soft whispers to each other gave them away because they hadn't yet gotten used to being human. The witch hoped he wouldn't be there but her heart was treachorous and fluttered eagerly at the thought of being looked upon by his cobalt eyes. Rubbing her hands slightly Jinta closed her eyes and listened to the horses hooves on cobblestone.

Markosious Fraykarre...

Again her heart fluttered as she thought her ex-lovers name so Jinta bit her bottom lip as punishment until a warm hand took hers. Kahns worried face made Jintas heart ache. How could she cause them trouble when they had barely begun to understand human feelings.

"It's nothing to worry yourself over. I'm just being silly."

Jinta smiled so winningly at her two pups they both settled down and she patted their laps. Once the coach stopped Shana hurriedly got off and ran to the nearest bush to throw up. Kahn followed but only to check up on his friend and Jinta smiled watching them. However once Shana was over his little ill moment Jinta enchanted the vomit and it transformed into a small but beautiful wild rose bush. Shana wrinkled his nose in distaste and looked at his mistress.

"Won't that smell nasty as a flower?"

A soft smile broke out on Jintas lips and she looped her arms through her dogs and walked with them to the parlor of the mansion they were visiting.

"You have much to learn, the both of you."

Being chauffeured into the main hall Jinta felt more then heard the whispers of apprehension light up and spread about the room. Yes everyone there knew about Jinta Marivarnaes past relationship with Markosious Fraykarre and that he had turned to dark magicke. Shana and Kahn were instantly by her side and she could see both dogs ready to attack. Jinta walked over to the balcony, the gathering of people parting round her as if she were the plague.

From that instant Shana and Kahns dislike for other witches and sorcerors began. Neither of them liked the way the people looked down at Jinta or whispered about her. Shanas discontent turned from a burning ember in his gut to a fire that set his eyes alight with fury as a beaky nosed sorceror grabbed hold of Jintas wrist.

"You being here is a DISGRACE to our teacher!"

The man who hissed at her had dark malicious blue eyes and his lips were pulled back in what seemed to be a smile mixed a snarl. His thin fingers were digging into Jintas arm were he had hold of her. His grasp was soon broken as a small but rock hard fist connected with the mans jaw bone. The beak nosed man tumbled to the floor and looked up at Shana in horror. The German Sheperd growled deep from within his chest and stepped between his mistress and the shamble of a sorceror cowering beneath him so. Kahns back was to Shana and Jinta, his eyes sullen watching the crowd for any would-be heros. They kept back, shocked exclamations and whispers dying down when a rather beautifully dressed woman came storming through the crowd demanding to know who had hit her husband. Shana stood up straight, eyes narrowed and arms folded. His hand was stinging slightly from whatever spell the beak nosed man had put up before his fist had hit its mark.

"I did."

Jintas eyes widened in panic and she pulled both dogs to her side and shielded their heads with her arms. Kahn could smell fear coming from the witch and her body was trembling noticeably. His large arms wrapped round his mistresses shoulders were as Shanas wound their way around her waist.

"Please forgive them! They mean no harm-"

"Harm has already been done! You call yourself a purist of white magicke yet you can't even control your own creations!"

Jintas cheeks flushed in anger at the woman talking, she didn't care even if she was the daughter of her teacher. No one was going to insult her pups. They weren't made to be controlled! The whole crowd of people were laughing and jeering at her. Jinta wasn't going to take it.

"DON'T YOU INSULT MY SONS!!"

Now every one in the room faltered and looked at Jinta nervously. Even the haughty daughter looked rocked. Jinta was a kind natured person, no one except for Markosious Fraykarre had ever been on the receiving end of the white witches temper. Shana and Kahn whimpered and whined, they were unused to such a negative feeling from their mistress. However the haughty woman regained her posture and sneered down at Jinta with a cruel smile on her face.

"Well at least I CAN CARRY a child to FULL pregnancy. The Gods OBVIOUSLY didn't want you having children."

All of Jintas fury and breath was taken from her in those few seconds of speech. Her heart screamed in pain as a very old and sensitive wound was pulled open. Kahn whimpered and nuzzled into Jintas neck, his heart aching for her yet he didn't know why. The European Rottweiler wasn't as empathetic at as Shana but he could still sense the witches pain. And were Jinta no longer had the tears to cry, Shanas cheeks shined with wet pearly beads for her.

Then from out the crowd a black hooded figure walked to the nasty woman who found Jintas pain pleasurefull leant into her personal space.

"You should bite off that tongue of yours."

Stepping back the cloaked figure turned its attention to Jinta and her two dogs. Kahn and Shana jumped when the woman who had been so cruel started sputtering and blood trickled down her chin from partially open lips. Coughing she bent over and spat out a chunk of red muscle and blood dripped to the floor. Her green eyes were fixed to the thing she had spat out and she croaked.

"Ah...aah..."

What she was staring at was the very thing she had used to choose and speak the words she had that had sent arrows to Jintas heart. Her tongue, which as everyone had stared at the cloaked figure, she had bitten through just like the cloaked person had whispered her to do.

And although no one else seemed to be able to see under that dark hood Jintas wide startled citrine eyes connected with the cobalt blue orbs that were full of fury and undying love for the white witch who had damned him to hell.
