Kenneth watched as Myriam walked around with his arm round the sable haired dog. Over the years, he had watched Shana become nothing more then a living doll. A walking masterpiece who's head was so clotted with a concoction of drugs the once clever and sarcastic mind had almost ceased to be. Amongst that was also that was also the physical changes Myriam had applied. Shanas lips were now permanently stained a soft rose pink, his upper body that had already been feminine now also had breasts but Kenneth knew that Myriam had left him with the same anatomy between his legs. Kenneths heart had reached its breaking point when the sorceror had announced that he was to be sold. Sold to one of these disgusting filth mongerers who would use him for his body. His concentration was broke as a figure pushed past him and grabbed a hold of Shanas arm, yanking him from Myriams grip. Kenneth was lost for words, the man that had the living doll was none other then the very dog who had been ripped from his side.

Myriams face contorted in anger and he lunged forwards toward Kahn, his mind blinkered by obsession that he forgot about sullen eyed mans strength. He was soon reminded as Kahns hand clamped shut round his throat and lifted him clean off the floor. Besides the enraged Rottweiler something sparked deep within Shana, making the living doll turn back into a resembalence of its former self. Gently he bunched his hand in the front of Kahns shirt and leaned into him. Drinking in the all too familiar scent that he had yearned for whilst smothered by the sorcerors smell.

"Kahn...lower him..."

The sable haired male watched as his friends arm twitched and tensed before throwing Myriam to the ground. Quickly Shana had to subdue Kahn before he swiped at Kenneth, who rushed to Myriams side in worry. The boy put his hand on the sorcerors back but was met with unbridled fury and was flung aside.

Everything past there was surreal for the black haired apprentice except for his back breaking through the wooden barrier. For what seemed like a moment of eternity Kenneth felt like he was flying and he watched as Myriams face changed from unbridled fury to one of such panic Kenneth found it humurous. The young boy never felt the pain of his head connecting with the marble floor or his masters cry of anguish.

Shana clung to Kahns side as people screamed and shouted. Quickly Kahn held Shana to his side and tugged him down the stairs. A glance to the middle of the room made Kahn press Shanas face into his side and hurried their walking. The child that had fallen now lay like a beautiful but broken doll and there were people working spells and enchantments of all healing types. Kahn could only hope they were successful saving the boys life. Steering Shana out into the open he pushed him down behind a bed of flowers taking note as a loud enraged cry sounded from inside the mayors mansion like house. He quickly scanned the yard and spotted a weak looking carriage just 16 foot away from were he and Shana were hidden.

"Can you run?"

Shana looked up into the dark eyes of his friend and saw excitement lingering there. Shana was not excited, he was terrified to the point he thought he would piss his pants. However he nodded and yelped in surprise as Kahn tugged him along across the gravelled courtyard. Shanas eyes widened in surprise as Kahn slung him onto the back of one of the snow white horses. He had known that Kahn was strong but his admiration suddenly became tinged with fear as he watched the man cripple metal in his bare hands and pull it apart. Kahn did the same to the other horses metal pulley and stroked its nose gently.

"Please help us escape, we will take you both to a family who will care for you."

Both horses looked at each other as if to converse and the one Kahn had his hand on whinnied, butting him in the chest gently. The man smiled and clambered on the horses back, his hands twining into the silver white mane.

As they took off at a gallop Shana gave one look backwards towards the house were he had just been stolen from Myriam. Angrily his hand clasped round the choker on his throat and ripped it off, throwing it over his shoulder and crying in a mix of anguish and relief. Kahn howled in sympathy but also in victory at the fact he had been re-united with his best friend.

When they arrived at the farm both young men were sodden with light rain and Kahn led the two horses into the stables, relief settling into his heart when he saw Bailey in his stable drinking water. It meant Joey and Hansel had left before seeing anything. Gently taking Shanas arm he steered his friend towards the house and let him in. Inside it was quite warm and Kahn could smell the sweet scent of rose wood burning. As he walked into the living room Kahn could see Joey snuggled into his fathers side with Freya stroking his back. Instantly his heart ached and he stepped forwards, shoe connecting with the poker and sending it clanging to the ground.

Joeys head snapped up at the noise and his eyes sparkled with tears.

"Kahn!"

His hands grabbed onto the blazer Kahn was wearing as he stumbled and sobbed as he felt Kahns arms lock around him. The warm embrace of his lover sent Joeys knees weak and the Rottweiler sunk to the floor, his arms crushing the boy to his chest as he cried. Kahn tilted Joeys head back and gently kissed him, hands either side the younger mans face. Their lips were only milimetres from one anothers and eyes locked, mirroring each others love. The only person in that room who felt uncomfortable was Shana. His heart lurched in pain but deep down there was also a sense of contentment that Kahn had found someone to love. It just hurt that the person Kahn loved wasn't Shana himself.
