"Are you sure it's not my fualt? I left you alone there by yourself, at the Casita.." Lorenzo's eyes teared up, but he did everything he could to hold his tears back.
"Its not your fualt okay?! Its mine for being weak, and acting like a kid all the time." Camilo started crying and burried his face in his knees, trying to hide his tears but it was no use.
Lorenzo sat on the floor next to him, patting camilos back to comfort him.
Valentina's heart sank, learning that they have been through more then they deserved to. "Do you need me to leave you two alone for now?" She'd ask.
"Yeah please, I need to talk to him." Lorenzo said, then Valentina left the room, shutting the door behind her.
Lorenzo looked back at Camilo "Hey, dont talk about yourself like that okay? Your not weak." He'd tell camilo.
"Yes I am, and I cant do anything right, I just screwed everything up, I ran away to?! What was I thinking, I should have just stayed home, now they probably hate me and want me to disappear."
Camilo said, hugging lorenzo, his tears onto the back of lorenzo's shirt but Lorenzo didn't care.
"They would never want you to disappear okay? And there is nothing wrong with you. Nothings your fualt its all their fualt okay? You dont deserve anything they did to you." Lorenzo tried his best to comfort Camilo.
"But I do, I was weak, and I wasnt helpful, and I didnt do anything right." Camilo held onto Lorenzo tightly, Lorenzo being the only person in the world that Camilo felt like he could still trust.
Lorenzo looked at the bandages that where wrapped around Camilos arms and asked. "What gave you the idea.. to cut yourself in the first place?"
"Isa... she said if I was so weak and useless I should have just..." Camilo started crying more and his voice was shaky. "Just.... killed myself." He said in a quiet voice.
Lorenzo tried to hide his anger, how could his own cousin, tell his little brother to do that to himself?!
"Its alright, she wont say it again, I promise." Lorenzo's guilt for leaving him at the casita for so long grew.
"Im sorry for crying, I know it's annoying and I should have just put up with everything." Camilo said, letting go of Lorenzo.
"No." Lorenzo said.
"No?" Camilo looked at lorenzo.
"No, dont apologize for crying, it's okay to have emotions, its okay for being human, it's not okay that they treated you as if you where and object!" Lorenzo yelled.
As lorenzo yelled Camilo flinched, and covered his ears for a moment.
Valentina had stayed on the other side of the door hearing everything, after figuring out what's been going on she had the need to confront their Abuela and Isabela. But couldnt.
