After a few minutes of walking, Camilo and Mirabel got back to the Casita. Mirabel ran into the kitchen to find something to eat, meanwhile Camilo was about to walk back into his room but then Pepa stopped him for a moment.
"What? You arent gonna give your mother a hug?" She said jokingly then saw the bruises on Camilo's face
"Milo, what happened?" She looked concerned and put her hands up to Camilo's face and turned his head a bit to the side so she could see if he was hurt even more, then she hugged him.
"Something just happened at school, I'm okay." Camilo hugged her back then let go after a moment.
Pepa let go of him as well. "Do you think you could tell me who did it? And Camilo, when things like this you need to tell someone. I dont want you to keep getting hurt okay?"
"I dont think I should tell you, if I do he might just make it worse when he does this again tomorrow. And I know it isn't good and I cant keep smiling and pretending it's okay any longer." Camilo wiped a few tears off of his face when he noticed he had started crying
Pepa hugged him, holding him close to comfort him. "Camilo please tell an adult when things like this happen, and I'm begging you, dont pretend that this is okay, it's not something to smile about." She let go of Camilo and wiped tears off of his face.
"I know, I'm sorry." Camilo finally stopped himself from crying again.
"Now, how about later, we both go to the Bakery and get something to eat there to cheer you up?" Pepa asked with a smile, which made Camilo start to smile as well.
Camilo agreed and smiled. He started walking upstairs to his room. When he closed the door, he jumped, startled by Carlos.
"Why are you in my room?" Camilo asked.
"You know.. what Isabela did before, when she tried to get rid of you, I wanted to stop her. But it turns out she was right, you are annoying, and weak too." He began walking towards Camilo.
Camilo tried to leave but before he could, Carlos grabbed both of his wrist and shoved Camilo into the wall then let go, watching Camilo fall to the ground.
"I knew it, you are the weaker one of us. It's so easy make you cry, I'm surprised that you were able to keep yourself together and not break down earlier at school." Carlos laughed and just then Isabela walked into the room.
"What is she doing here?" Camilo glared at her then looked back at Carlos
"Well, I'm helping her finish the plan, since apparently you were able to escape last time.. I'm done being stuck in your shadow like I used to be, everyone will forget about you and you. Will. Be. Nothing." Carlos smiled
As soon as Camilo tried to scream Carlos covered his mouth with some sort of cloth, then tied it in place, and Isabela used her gift to create a vine that worked like rope and tied it around Camilo's wrist.
"Just dont struggle and you'll be okay." Isabela laughed. What she said sounded like a threat and it scared Camilo more than she intended for it to but she didn't care.
Meanwhile, Mirabel walked around the kitchen, she picked up a book she found and thought it would be fun to try and perfect a receipe she had already been trying to perfect for a while but never had much time too.
Luckily now she did. She flipped through pages of the book, and just then, Julieta walked into the room quietly, walking behind Mirabel than giving her a hug laughed.
