Camilo was breathing heavily, was he behind the family portrait?! He took deep breaths, and his heart was pounding quickly, looking around to see a figure dressed in green standing in front of him.
"Who are you?!" Camilo said backing away, bumping into a wall. Making him fall onto the ground "ow..".
"Are you okay? I'll tell you who I am in a minute but I think you should get off the floor first."
The figure wearing green took his hood off, was that really.. Bruno? It couldn't be... bruno left didn't he?.
"Need help up?" Bruno said, offering his hand to camilo, helping him get off the ground.
"Yeah, thanks-" camilo said. he got off the floor and brushed the dirt off of himself.
"I'm your Tío, Bruno. I'll explain everything later but I need you you to tell my why you are running from my Hermana." Bruno said.
"Well I was running because she grabbed my arm, which sort of hurt, A lot. and she was about to yell and she said she doesnt trust me- and for some reason it scared me and I ran." Camilo said, noticing that he shouldn't have ran away from pepa.
"Oh.. well, I saw what happened this morning in your room.. everyone was there huh?" Bruno said
"Yeah... none of that would have happened if carlos and isabel didnt hurt me first, I can't believe that they are getting away with it so easily while I have to deal with the punishment of supposedly 'attacking them'.." Camilo said.
"Yeah.. I saw what happened.. are you okay?" Bruno said, worried.
"No, I am not okay, and on top of that my secret is exposed and I'm being forced to be isolated in my room until they say I can leave, it's so unfair." Camilo said.
"I dont really know what to say about that. when I was your age, your Abuela made me stay in my room for a long time to, it wasn't nice being alone at all." Bruno said.
"You know what it's like? At least you didn't have to deal with an 'oh so perfect' cousin like 'Perfecta Isabela' and a brother who is always trying to mess up your life by humiliating you and worse." Camilo said.
"I didnt.. unfortunately so I don't know how bad it is, and- earlier you said pepa tried grabbing your arm? Why?" Bruno asked.
"Well- theres just a few scars, that's all, and she wanted to see." Camilo said as a 'sort of' excuse.
"Well can I see?" Bruno curiously asked.
"Yeah. I guess you can." Camilo for some reason felt like he trusted bruno more then anyone else right now, so he rolled up his sleeve revealing all of the cuts.
"Oh, Camilo. How did you get those cuts? They look awfully similar to the cuts you would get from-" Bruno tried to talk but got cut off in the middle of talking.
"I dont wanna talk about it okay?!' Camilo said, covering his ears with his hands, expecting that he'd get yelled at for talking back or yelling.
All of a sudden, bruno hugged camilo, Bruno could relate to the situation.
"Huh?- why would he hug me if I yelled at him?.." camilo thought to himself.
