"Shut it"
I snatched the controller out of James hand again, after having to hear yet another remark about me not playing this stupid video game right. Which was totally not true.

I managed to build something. I didn't know what it was, but it did make me happy. So I took it as success.

From behind, I felt Asha's chest vibrating; making clear that he too was having this to his amusement.

Luke and I got into a new round of this so called game, I for whatever reason kept forgetting the name off.

"Don't laugh. Stop laughing" I frowned at Asha, moving to get away, when the only thing he did was; pull me tighter against him and laying his chin on top of my shoulder.

"No, keep going. You're doing a good job, baby. You've got this" He whispered from behind.
"I know" I responded. He smirked.
"You do" He muttered against my neck.
I shuddered. "Hey, really no distractions needed"
"Right, right, sorry" Then he pressed his cheek into mine and Luke and I got into the battle.

Leading I was. At least that was what Asha told me. I felt prouder of myself than ever; ignoring the fact that this was only due to Luke being completely bad at this. That was what James said, earlier, by the way.

Apparently Asha and James were the only ones in this room to know how this game exactly worked.

"I'm sorry to tell you this pal, but you absolutely suck. Like terribly, unbelievably, extremely suck" James said to Luke after a while. I felt a grin of malice sneak up my face.
Asha noticed. Of course he did. He pressed his laughing face into my neck and I grinned even wider; trying my best to keep the gaze forward.

"I certainly do not" Luke still tried to defend, which was completely useless to certainly not only my opinion.

"I cannot believe you were that confident in winning too" James kept mocking; poking Luke's chest. Luke tried to snatch James hand a few times. He did in fact not succeed. I felt Asha laughing again.

"Yeah? Well maybe that's because I don't waste my time with these useless kinds of inventions and rather focus on what's real life" Luke spit, which made him look way funnier than before.

But he was right. Luke wasn't like Asha and James. Actually he was nothing like them. He was a realist. He went into the direction of a work-aholic even. Below all of this technology he stood. Always.

"Sorry you seemingly don't have a life"
He said but James only went on.

"Dude, even Elany plays better than you!" He bursted and that was when Luke threw himself at him, having caused both of them to tumble down; making them look like 8- year olds trying to fight.
"You little shit!" Luke started shaking James shoulders and all of us laughed. Then I stopped.

"Wait. What do you mean  by 'even Elany is better'?" All three boys went still.
I turned around to Asha, only to see him having bit back a grin.

"Hey!" I moved to get away, but he tightened his grip around me once again.
"No, darling" He laughed "You were amazing, they don't know what they're talking about."
I turned to look at the boys.

"Were I?" I asked.
"No. No, not even close" James said, as Asha went:  "James!"
"What?!" He yelled back.
"She was literally just trying to build a house while people were in the middle of  killing Luke!"

I stared questioningly at him.
"So?"
"That's not what you do in Fortnite, Elany! You have to kill them!"

"Wait" Luke interrupted "That's what it was about?"
