"Elany, let's join them!" James shouted over all the music; hinting at a few drunk people jumping into the pool; full.on.clothed.

Excitement spread trough me.
"Yes!" I yelled back over the music and as I moved to get to James who did already jump into the pool, an arm came snaking around my waist.

"Absolutely not" Asha's low mumble was audible, as he pulled me tightly against him.

"You're drunk, Elany and I will not let you jump into a pool with drunk strangers in that state" He whispered.

"But look. James does it too!" I looked back at James who did look like he had the time of his life. He screamed. Laughed.

"James is an idiot, darling. Don't do the things he does"

I scanned the crowd. The party we were at. Lights being flashed. Music being pumped. Them my eyes fell onto something. Onto someone.

Luke. The corner he'd been in was dark. The darkness of the sky not helping.
I could almost not make out what he was doing. Where he was looking. But I did.
I could recognise it, along with the light stitch of his hair.

He looked at something. Stared. Intensely. I saw the sparkle in his eyes from here. From the end of the porch.

Red cup in his hand; he took a sip of it.
Then he kept watching. His jaw clenched. Then the grip of his cup got tighter. I felt me frowning. Then I followed his gaze.

James.
He stared at him.
James; who was dancing with a couple of strangers. James; who was laughing around. James; whose body danced closely to another woman's.

I looked at Asha. He'd been looking at James too. Frowning. Frowning he was at his friend and before I got to wonder furthermore; his gaze shifted to mine.

"Remember the beautiful part of the beach on our way down here?"
I nodded.

Then he took my hand; leading us away from the people. Away from the party and all its sounds.

Trough the soft cooled sand we started walking. I looked up at the stars. At the sky. At the moon.

"Admiring the nature again?" Asha hummed.
"Always" Because that was the truth. That was the thing I always did. Questioning and admiring nature. The universe. Because things fascinated me easily. Very easily.

"I'm happy I'm here" I said after a while during our walk.
He inspected me
"I'm happy you're here" I continued.
He smiled knowingly.
"I'm happy the moon is here. And the stars. And the sky"

We arrived at the sea. At the water. But Asha wouldn't stop walking.
"What are you-" Then he pulled me into the water; really full on clothed. Not even time to take off my shoes I had.

"Asha!" I squeaked.
"You wanted to jump into cold ice water, didn't you?" He laughed at me. "Full on clothed. There you go, darling"

We went further into the deep water, as Asha picked me up and spun me around. In the middle of the darkness. In the middle of the sea...
