Asha's low chuckle nearly made me forget about the horror movie in front of us.

Another jumpscare.
Another moment of me having had to press my eyes shut.
"It was your idea, Elany."
"I did not complain."
"Oh, and you don't have to."
He took ahold of the remote.
"What do you want to watch?"
Towards the present playing movie, I gestured.
Asha laughed, shaking his head.
"Love, we don't have to continue watching this"

I hesitated.
He smiled.
"How about Minions?''
He caught me smiling.

"Minions it is"
We leaned back, as Asha took my hand and intertwined our fingers.
"Thank you" After a while, I said.
He looked at me.
