Chapter 24| Me or Her?

Wang Lei knocked on Xin Ying's door and walked inside. Xin Ying stood up from his bed, putting away the book and presently surprised looked at Wang Lei. Wang Lei walked towards her while closing the door behind

'Wang Lei, what are you doing here?' Xin Ying asked surprised as she greeted him. Wang Lei greeted back in a serious manner as he glared at her. He seems to be angry.

'Tell me about your previous lover?' Wang Lei asked straight out and Xin Ying was taken back from his questions.

'Why you are asking that? I have nothing to do with him anymore.' Xin Ying said in her defence. She felt he was angry with her because of her previous lover but she wonders why now? When she told him about that Huang Dewei he said nothing whereas Wang Lei sighed and then walked and sat down on the bed in a defeated manner

'Just do me a favour and tell me about him, Xin Ying. I beg you.' Wang Lei requested and Xin Ying was extremely confused and baffled by his request but his condition was not looking good so she started talking

'He is a kind soft hearted man. He is a gentleman but prideful. He loves justice and hated when people look down on him because of his poor status...He can come off as a little naive with his views about the world but he has heart of gold...Even when someone flirted with him, he does not realise at all that's how innocent he is I remember when I flirted with him he did not realise it either. But I find it cute and heartwarming...' Xin Yin said as he laugh remembering their days together and Wang Lei really felt like she was describing Huang Dewei. She stopped talking and laughing as she looked up at him.  She felt she was telling him too much. The thing about flirting, he had no need to know about it.

'Please keep going.' Wang Lei ordered her in his soft tone so she continued

'He is good at fighting..., especially sword fighting. It is his speciality. He looks very elegant and beautiful when he does a sword fight....I have never seen a man with his moves...he looks beautiful and breathtaking...and he doesn't know but he can't hold his alcohol. He is a bad drinker. ' Xin Ying said as she changed the topic away from flirting while remembering their sweet old days and Wang Lei felt his heart was sinking. She really was describing Huang Dewei

'How he was as a lover?' Wang Lei asked and that was a surprising question for Xin Ying a little embarrassing as well. Why he was asking about their romance. What he was planning? What if he wanted to kill his wife's old lover since that was hurtful to his ego. What if he found out it was Huang Dewei?' Xin Ying thought as she suddenly got terrified and worried when she heard him

'I had asked you something, Xin Ying?' On Wang Lei's question, she came out from her thoughts and spoke up

'He was a good lover...very patient and romantic. He trusts you blindly and is very passionate. He used to read books to me and would always take care of me. He really makes me feel like a human...and the funny thing he has a mole as a birthmark  next to his belly button and he hated it.' Xin Ying said as she laugh Wang Lei looked towards her and she realised maybe she gave too much information.

'You have slept with him?' Wang Lei asked and Xin Ying blushed and looked away as she answered him yes. Wang Lei clenched his fist and stood back up. Xin Ying also stood up as Wang Lei was about to walk out of his room when he heard

'Why you ask all this? I hope you won't be doing something stupid.' Xin Ying said and Wang Lei stopped then looked back toward her

'Don't worry...I won't be doing anything stupid.' Wang Lei said and walked off while Xin Ying was worried for Huang Dewei. She thought he was jealous and might kill him without having knowledge about what was going on between them. Wang Lei fuming with anger went back to his room and saw him sleeping peacefully on his bed. He walked towards him and sat down as he stared at him and then with his shaky hand, he slowly pulled up his robe a little bit and saw the birthmark Xin Ying was talking about and it really was here. She really was talking about Huang Dewei. That was the proof.
