Chapter 102| The Truth Unravel

Wang Lei was sitting in his chamber as he had just finished his court hearing early in the morning when there was a knock on his door. The door was opened and he saw Yichen enter inside. Yichen walked and bowed down to him respectfully as he greeted him. Wang Lei looked at him, giving him all his attention because as much as he remembered he did not call him here.

'Your Majesty, I need to talk to you. Can you spare me some time please?' Yichen said as he looked at Wang Lei asking his permission who nodded his head while waiting for him curiously and confused to continue.

'Are you still looking for the man for whom Ru Qin betrayed you?' Yichen asked starting the conversation with loudly beating heart and Wang Lei was taken aback from his question.

'Yes, Do you have information about him?' Wang Lei asked surprised

'Yes.' Yichen simply responded as he was preparing himself to let Wang Lei knew about everything he knew about an ugly truth he was hiding deep inside him. Now he was ready to let all of burden he had been holding for years on his shoulder...He was ready to face the consequences and gave himself second chance for a better life and somehow he trust Wang Lei...He had a trust that he might will understand his reasons too.

'Then tell me what information you have regarding him.' Wang Lei said in a serious tone as he felt his heart rapidly beating inside him. He had been looking for that man for years because if he found out about that man he will know the truth but till now he found nothing regarding him and now Yichen said he knew about that man.

'That man was me...I am that man.' Yichen confessed as he let the whole secret out and Wang Lei eyes widen as he shocked. Wang Lei slowly stood up from his seat and walked towards him.

'What?' Wang Lei hardly let the words slipped out from his mouth as he was staring at him dumbfounded.

'Have your mercy on me your majesty. I have reasons.' Yichen quickly fell down on the ground on his knees as he begged for the mercy. Wang Lei felt his lips getting dry due to shock but he composed himself. He should ask for the whole story before jumping to any conclusion.

'Tell me the whole story.' Wang Lei ordered in a shaky voice and Yichen looked up towrads him and started telling the story while still sitting on the ground.

'I was young and someone offer me money to pretend to be Ru Qin's lover and betrayed you. Ru Qin also did that because he said he owe that person his whole life. We both come from poor families and had our own reason for doing it...We knew we are committing huge crime but that person said that everything will be fine and we will be save. That person was right and we were never get caught despite the fact you looked for us for years. We both came to you and told you truth otherwise you would never had found out about it.' Yichen said as he slowly let the story reached his ears and Wang Lei clenched his fist while fuming with anger but still trying to hold all his anger and frustration inside him.

'Who is that person?' Wang Lei asked and Yichen looked at his red face and bite inside of his mouth because he needed to gained a lot of courage to let him know the name of that person. He had no idea how Wang Lei will take his answer but he definitely was sure he won't like it.

'I am asking who is that person?' Wang Lei screamed in rage as he lost his patience. He wanted to be nice with Yichen but he was making it hard for him.

'I don't know if you will be able to handle it.'Yichen said as he gave him warning because he was scared for his life from inside.

'Try me...trust me I am way more stronger then you think I am.' Wang Lei snapped encouraging him to tell the Wang Lei's about the person who Wang Lei had been trying to find for ages but Yichen still stayed quiet. Wang Lei realised maybe Yichan was fearful to revealed the name hence he decided maybe he should make it easy for him.
