Chapter 109| Goodbye My First Love

'Xin Ying...' Huang Dewei called out to her as he ran towards her. Xin Ying stopped in her tracks and turned over towards him. Huang Dewei stopped in front of her out of breath. He had been looking for her as he wanted to talk to her. As much she hurt him, she still was precious women to him. He understood her pain.

'What is it, Huang Dewei?' Xin Ying said sorrowfully as she looked at him with sad eyes,

'It is your second chance so live your life the way you want to.' Huang Dewei said as he tried to consoled her. He wanted her to be content in her life because she deserve to be happy as well. Xin Ying looked at him as she remembered their beautiful short lived past together.

'Do you want to come with me Huang Dewei...' Xin Ying said with a hopeful eyes and Huang Dewei was taken aback from her response. He believed that he had made clear to her that he was not interested in her anymore. He does not understand why she keeping asking him to come back to her when she know there was no chance between them anymore.

'What? No...I can't.' Huang Dewei straight out without wasting a second rejected her offer. Xin Ying expected that response but she still felt heart broken. She just feel lonely and depressed whenever she realised that she had no one who would love her and both men, one she used to love and one she was currently in love does not want her or love her. She was not as important in their life as much they were important each other in their life. She just wanted to have at least one of them in her life. If not Wang Lei then Huang Dewei but they both were holding on each other.

'My mistake...I should never have even asked that. I can even smell him on you Huang Dewei.' Xin Ying said bitterly as she sighed and Huang Dewei was puzzled on her response.

'Huh...'

'I came last night to meet Wang Lei but by the sounds coming out from his room which I heard I know you two were too busy with each other so I just came back to my room.' Xin Ying said and Huang Dewei remembered their last night and he felt embarrassed that Xin Ying heard them. He said nothing in response as silence took place between them.

'What's so good about him Huang Dewei?' Xin Ying asked breaking the silence between them as she stares at him intensely

'You are asking this when you are also in love with him?' Huang Dewei asked and Xin Ying

'Fine he is indeed a man to be in love with.' Xin Ying confessed the love she could never confess to Wang Lei and Huang Dewei said nothing as he stayed quite.

'Abut you know one day he will leave you just the way he just left me.' Xin Ying confessed as she warned him and Huang Dewei did not like her words.

'He won't ever leave me.' Huang Dewei said confidently.

'Don't trust anybody this blindly Huang Dewei. How you are so sure when he left me while I was his wife.' Xin Ying said as she tried putting doubt of insecurity inside Huang Dewei's mind. She knew well how sensitive Huang Dewei was due to his statue and Huang Dewei also understood she was doing this on purpose. She was saying this barely on her assumptions.

'You and I are the difference.' Huang Dewei quickly said as he defended himself.

'How? How we are different.' Xin Ying questioned

'If I ever left him he will die while your exitance is nothing to him.' Huang Dewei said as he looked dead in her eyes asking her to prove him wrong while his harsh words stabbed into Xin Ying's heart.

'I can forgive you for being with Wang Lei if you come with him Huang Dewei. We can make a beautiful life with each other.' Xin Ying said completely changing her tone and behavioural. She decided to persuaded him and now Huang Dewei was getting mad at himself for coming here and talking to her. She keep trying to break them apart when she knew it will never work for her. He should just had let her go without saying a word. She was not the same person she used to be when they were in love. She might have changed or she always was this but Huang Dewei never get to see under her veil how badly rotten she was from inside. Huang Dewei was not sure but he definitely was regretting his decision of coming here and bidding his goodbye to her.
