Huang Dewei nervously stared back towards Wang Lei who looked vexed and exhausted. He could tell Wang Lei was happy about the whole situation and Huang Dewei does not blame him but he was anxious to face that situation with Wang Lei. He can't run off so the only option for him lies to Wang Lei and he was not sure if he was able to lie without being caught by Wang Lei.

'Have you lost your mind?' Wang Lei screamed asked as his voice roared in the room. Guards standing outside even heard him while Huang Dewei jumped on his place over his loud terrified voice. The first time in his life that he was this angry towards Huang Dewei...It made Huang Dewei's heart beat rapidly but not in a good way.

'I...I don't know...' Huang Dewei weakly whispered as he did not even know what he should say to him while Wang Lei was not happy about his vague response.

'Do you have any idea what you have done Huang Dewei? You almost killed a guy.' Wang Lei screamed as anger was building inside his veins. If someone else would have been standing in front of him, he already would have given them punishment. Huang Dewei understood his anger and was feeling even more guilty and regretful.

'I apologise.' Huang Dewei remorsefully as he bowed down to him.

'That's an apology you need to ask from him and his family. They are standing outside my chamber asking for justice for their son who is in critical condition.' Wang Lei said as he told him the current tough situation he was in and Huang Dewei bite his lips as he looked down.

'Then you should do what is right as an Emperor.' Huang Dewei softy whispered said and Wang Lei was still glaring at him with even more dislikeness due to his words.

'Are you asking me to punish you?' Wang Lei screamed asked because he was annoyed and irked over him asking for punishment in such a carefree and nonchalant manner.

'If that is how you will give them justice then you should do it.' Huang Dewei said truthfully because he does not want to put him through any more trouble. He understood he should suffer punishment for his crime. He should go through the consequences for his mistake, not Wang Lei.

'Do you think I can punish you with my own hands?' Wang Lei asked dumbfounded and heartbroken as they were both looking right into each other's eyes.

'Think like an Emperor, not as a Lover.' Huang Dewei gave him advice and Wang Lei sighed helplessly as his gaze fell on his blood-filled knuckles. He moved and got hold of his hand.

'Are you hurt?' Wang Lei asked concerned

'No...I am fine.' Huang Dewei replied gently as he felt warmth filling his heart upon his worry.

'Look at that bloody condition of your hands and you  are saying that you are fine?' Wang Lei said annoyed and irritated while pointing at his hand then he moved and walked towards his bed. He made him sit down and then went to get warm water and a white cloth to clean his wound. He sat down and started cleaning as Huang Dewei sat and watched him.

'Why you did do that Weiwei? What is wrong with you?' Wang Lei softly asked puzzled and confused. He was not understanding what was wrong with Huang Dewei these days.

'Nothing I am fine...I just lost my patience.' Huang Dewei replied by telling half truth and hiding away the half-truth regarding his newly developed violent tendencies.

'I understand they must have hurt you with their words but still, you never behave this violently ever with anyone.' Wang Lei said as he asked concerned. He asked the other guard what happened and he told him the whole story. He understood those guards were not painful and hurtful but Huang Dewei's behavioural response and reaction were still too much. The other guard already gave punishment for his words as he suspected from work for a week but Wang Lei knew he needed punishment for Huang Dewei too if he wanted to create an equal society in Wang Dynasty. He was in a deeply troubled mind... Huang Dewei was right he was thinking as a lover, not as Emperor of the Wang Dynasty.
