Chapter 87| Argument

Wang Lei looked towards Huang Dewei who was sitting on the bed in silence. His eyes were swollen clearly an indication that he had been crying again and Wang Lei felt guilty for causing him all the pain. Wang Lei got up, walked towards him, and stood before him. He softly grabbed his face between his hands and made him look up. Their eyes met and Huang Dewei angrily looked away.

'Are you still mad at me, Weiwei?'

'Why would I be mad at you? I should be mad at myself for being a man instead of a woman.' Huang Dewei said sarcastically and Wang Lei sighed

'I apologised for my stupid drunk words...I did not mean them, Weiwei. I would never want you to be a woman.' Wang Lei said as he apologised for his harsh words last night. He did not mean that he wanted Huang Dewei to be a woman but he just wanted to have a child with him and him being a woman would have been easier.

'Are you sure they were only your drunk words and not your true desire?' Huang Dewei asked

'Weiwei, you are making a big deal out of nothing.' Wang Lei said getting a little irritated while Huang Dewei pushed away his hand and stood up.

'I am making a big deal out of nothing...are you serious right now? You gave me hope for future with us together and now you have snatch it away.' Huang Dewei asked shocked

'You are being dramatic...So what? When you became my concubine you knew you will be sharing me with others...Xin Ying is my wife and I should be having children with her then what's the big deal? That is a natural way and that is how everyone else in the palace will accept it too. I was stupid to suggest pearl magic and I apologised for it.' Wang Lei said annoyed and somehow he regretted his words as soon they were out of his mouth. Huang Dewei was beyond hurt but he quickly hide his pain as he spoke up.

'Your highness, do whatever you want to do. I got high hopes when you suggested pearl magic to me, but it does not matter. That is my problem and I will get over it...You are right, it is my stupidity to want what is not even mine. I want what belong to Xin Ying... I should know my boundaries and should stay within them... I can't become a woman for you since that is impossible but you should go to Xin Ying and have children with her just the way it is supposed to happen. She is the Emperess hence giving birth to the next Emperor is her responsibility and that is how should happen. That is fair and justice...Call me when you need me and I will open my legs for you and let you do whatever you wanted to do until you are satisfied.' Huang Dewei screamed said and without waiting for his response, he turned over and stormed off angrily. Wang Lei sighed.

He sat down on the bed and put his head in his hands as he felt miserable. Huang Dewei was not understanding...He can't risk something happening to him while doing pearl magic but he was being all stubborn now. He regrets even talking to him about pearl magic without knowing the consequences of the pearl magic. His biggest fear is losing Huang Dewei...he was scared that what if he died during pearl magic and that was the risk he was not ready to take it even if that mean Huang Dewei getting angry with him, not talking to him or even if he forcefully have to try sleep with Xin Ying. He will do anything as long nothing happen to Huang Dewei...he was everything to him and he was only one who matters to him most.

The rest of the day, they did nothing much. They took a tour of the dynasty with Lian Hong then met their nation and gave a speech. Once the deal was sighed and sealed, they said goodbye and started their journey back to the Wang Dynasty. They did not talk about anything all day while they performed their duties with each other. Huang Dewei also sat down in a cart while keeping as much distance he could between them and Wang Lei could not say anything since he knew Huang Dewei still was mad at him.

The slowly journey was passing as night was getting deeper and Wang Lei was reading his book when he felt a head over his shoulder. He stopped reading and looked up and it was Huang Dewei who was fast asleep. He probably fell on his shoulder unconsciously. Wang Lei could not help and smile and then he slowly moved his head away from his shoulder and put it down in his lap so he could sleep more comfortably. He stares at him as he admired his beauty as he softly touched his hair.
