Chapter 19| Mishap

Huang Dewei's moves were elegant and graceful which usually are even when he does sword fighting. His moves are usually clean yet beautiful. He had no idea how he was dancing but everyone's eyes were fixed on him so he assumed they liked what they were seeing. As his dance finished, he stopped in his place and looked at everyone as they all cheered him.

'Come and sit with us.' One of the rich elite men in his fancy clothes called Huang Dewei to go toward him and Huang Dewei looked at Jia who signalled him to obey their instruction. Not to cause any harm to the mission, Huang Dewei slowly walked towards that person's table and stopped in front of him. The man was in his late forties as he smiled and lustfully looked toward Huang Dewei who felt very uncomfortable. Nevertheless, he still walked and sat down next to him as another dancer walked onto the stage and started dancing. Everyone else also got back to talking among themselves and watching the dance.

'Pour a drink for me.' That man ordered Huang Dewei who nodded his head and started pouring the drink as he heard him talking to other men who were sitting across from him at the table.

'His Majesty is meeting with the ruler of Qi country in the upcoming week.' That man asked the other man as he started the conversation who nodded his head as he spoke up

'Yes, in the last court hearing, the news of poor kids had already reached him, but I think his Majesty should stay away from that matter otherwise you never know what can happen.' That man whispered while Huang Dewei poured the drink and put it in front of them while carefully listening to their secret conversation.

'What do you think will happen?' That man asked curiously while drinking the alcohol.

'I don't know but rumours suggest whoever is behind is ruthless. They can kill him.' The other man said and Huang Dewei was taken back.

'That's true but his Majesty is a very strong man because many times people had tried to kill him previously and he survived .' The other man whispered replied.

'I believe his Majesty needs to have an heir by now. I heard rumours that he had finally accepted his relationship with Xin Ying. That is surprising considering the fact he moved on from his betrayer this fast.' The man said while the other one nodded his head and spoke up whereas Huang Dewei pretended to be busy pouring the drink for them but his all attention was towards their words.

'Yes, since it's only been six months since his previous personal royal guard had died ....or should I say his lover.' The man said as they nodded their head and Huang Dewei was surprised by the new fact he had just heard.

''Well, that was just a rumour that his previous personal royal guard was his Majesty's lover...the way he moved on so quickly, he could just be his sex toy.' The man said as he made his analysis and the other man nodded his head whereas Huang Dewei felt something strung in his heart...if his previous bodyguard was his sex toy, does he want the same with Huang Dewei? Was Huang Dewei just a placement in the place of his previous bodyguard?

'Well, we just heard rumours about them...Anyway, I have heard his Majesty got a placement of his previous personal royal guard for his protection...I have never seen him but I heard he is good-looking.' One of the men said curiously.

'Could be placed to warm up his bed as well.' One of the men said as they both laughed and Huang Dewei glared at them. They were talking about him in a vulgar matter right in front of him.

'Well, for now with the Qi sector, if it works out, they can bring us a lot of benefits. Who cares about those poor kids dying anyway?' One of the men said and they both laughed as they cheered while Huang Dewei angrily sighed when the man who called Huang Dewei looked towards him then moved and pulled him towards him. Huang Dewei was flabbergasted as he landed on his chest in his arms.
