Chapter 103| Confrontation

Cheng ran towards Huang Dewei's residence and knocked on his door. He entered and greeted him and Huang Dewei looked at his worry-filled face. Cheng had no idea what was happening but he was quite worried for Wang Lei.

'What's wrong?' Huang Dewei asked

'Your Majesty needs you. You should come right away.' Cheng said breathlessly as he had ran from Wang Lei's chamber to Huang Dewei. Huang Dewei concerned nodded his head and quickly walked out with him. They hurried to reach his chamber and without a knock, Huang Dewei entered inside leaving Cheng outside to do his duty. As Huang Dewei reached the scene, he was surprised upon seeing the appearance of Yichan and Ru Qin presented there. Yichen was sitting on the ground in a forgiveness posture, and Ru Qin was standing in front of Wang Lei who was shaking badly. His condition was not good. Huang Dewei quickly worried dashed towards him.

'Wang Lei, what's wrong? What happen to you?' Huang Dewei said as he got hold of his shaking body in his arms. Wang Lei looked at him as tears slowly formed in his eyes.

'Well, apparently Yichen is the man who pretended to have an affair with Ru Qin for money and guess who is behind all of this? Not my father or Xin Ying's father but my mother...my mother who died ages ago.' Wang Lei said as he told Huang Dewei the truth which he just had discovered and burst out into tears. He fell down on the ground as Huang Dewei sat down on the ground with him while holding him firmly in his arms. Everyone in the room froze on their spot as soon they heard him crying. That was the first ever anyone saw Wang Lei crying...Huang Dewei was shocked himself. Upon watching him crying like this made Huang Dewei's heart hurt painfully.

'What bullshit is this?' Huang Dewei whispered as tightened his grip around Wang Lei and let him cry. Wang Lei hid his face in Huang Dewei's chest while Huang Dewei looked at the other two people to speak up. 

'It's a truth. I knew Wang Lei would never be able to take it. Calm him down if possible.'Ru Qin said as he confirmed the truth himself.

'If you knew he can't take it then you should have come to me.' Huang Dewei screamed angrily and stressed as Ru Qin and Yichen looked at each other and realised they were idiots or more like Yichen was an idiot. He was right they should have gone to Huang Dewei instead of coming to Wang Lei straight away. If they had gone to Huang Dewei then situation would not have gotten worse and out of hand. Wang Lei was crying and his cries were the only thing heard in the room. Yichen and Ru Qin felt guilty and sympathetic for him.

'Wang Lei...Wang Lei...' Huang Dewei softly called him after a few minutes of crying and Wang Lei stopped crying and looked up towards him.

'No, I am going to kill everyone...They need to prove to me what they are saying...they are lying...my mother is dead and she will never do anything like this to me...I don't believe them...'Wang Lei announced as he angrily cleaned off his tears and was about to stand up but fell back down as his whole body was excessively shaking due to shock. Huang Dewei hold him not making him fall back down as he spoke up.

'Okay, Wang Lei...I got it...but listen to me...' Huang Dewei said as he got hold of his face in his hand and Wang Lei shook away his head not ready to hear anything he had to say.

'No...they are lying...' Wang Lei said denying like a child because he does not want Huang Dewei also trying to convince him that it was the truth. Huang Dewei nodded his head as he spoke up.

'Wang Lei...listen to me...you need to calm down if you need to find out the whole truth...I will confirm it for you and if they are lying I will kill them for you...I promise.'Huang Dewei said as he promised him truthfully and even Ru Qin and Yichen could felt the sincerity in his promise.

'Please calm down...'Huang Dewei said and Wang Lei stared at him and then he remembered their words again...Their words rang in his head as he felt he was losing his mind once more. He felt he had no controlled over his emotions.
