Chapter 26
Knocked Down
Mr. Park slammed the both of his hands on the table, making everyone in the intel flinch. The atmosphere inside was dark and all silent. "Where is Minho? I thought I said you bring him to me?"
General Wang cleared his throat before standing up his seat. "Mr. Park, you need to calm down." He gestured to the chair with his two hands. "Minho is on his way here. I already called him."
"I believe I called him since four days ago." Mr. Park remarked, massaging his forehead. The crease between his two eyebrows indicates how stressful the past few days were for him or he was just getting old.
Mr. Park clicked his tongue, letting out a scoff. "What do I expect from you? You're no use. All of you." His right hand makes its way to his face. "Leave."
This week was the most stressful and pressuring for all the staffs - may it be the traitors or not. The murder, the supposedly execution of the five students, the fire outbreak, the real suspect being on the loose and now this; the old man didn't know a thing about leading a whole district. That's why traitors exist.
As soon as everyone left the room, the door opened up again. Mr. Park didn't waste a time to even look at the newcomer. "I said leave!"
"I believe we need to have a talk."
The old man turn his face up and look at the newcomer, locking eyes with him. "Lee Minho."
"This better be something important." Minho glared.
Mr. Park put up a grin on his face, locking both of his hands together and putting his elbows on the desk. "Call it urgent."

"Yah! I said I'll come with you." Yeji mustered up the courage to tell his twin brother. Her hands were gripping the hem of her white tennis skirt.
"I already got Dowoon and Changbin as my partners in this case, Yeji. Why do you want to go with us when you already got some tasks to do?" Hyunjin furrowed his eyebrows and starts walking through the hallways, a notepad and a pen on his hand.
