Phil checks himself over once more in the mirror, fixing his blue acid-wash shirt. He brushes invisible lint off his black skinny jeans for the billionth time, before slipping on his jacket and shoes.

As anxiety bottles up in Phil's stomach, he paces the room and tries to calm his breathing. Running his hands through his hair, Phil suddenly feels his eyes getting very dry. He tries to get moisture back into them by forcing tears, but that only results in his contact lens falling out.

"Shit!" Phil mutters, frantically searching the floor for it. Though after five minutes, he gives up and takes the other lens out.

"Phil! Are you ready?" Dan asks, knocking on their bedroom door.

"Um, Yeah! I'm just . . . uh, I'm in a bit of a situation . . ." Phil trails off, not knowing how to put things simply.

Dan opens the door, allowing himself in. He looks at Phil with concern, "What do you mean?"

"I dropped my contact lens on the floor. That pair was supposed to last me a week." He responds with a pout.

A small smile traces Dan's face. He crosses the room and pats Phil's shoulder. "Awe, how about you wear your glasses, Philly?"

"I don't like my glasses."

"Well," Dan grabs the man's glasses off of the bedside table, "I do."

While Dan helps him put his glasses on, Phil can only imagine how his boyfriend will be saying those words again someday, but be helping him put on a ring instead. He'll be his fiancé soon. And then, his husband. He smiles at the thought of him and Dan being married.

"What're you smiling about?" Dan asks, unable to hold his own smile back.

"You."

"Me?"

Phil nods his head.

"What?" Dan is giggly and confused.
"I love you." Phil responds, standing on his toes to plant a kiss on Dan's temple.

"I love you, too." The younger man replies sweetly. "Now, shall we get going?"

Phil laughs at Dan's choice of words, mocking in reply, "We shall."

The restaurant gave the men a more hidden table to minimize the chances of being spotted by fan. However, that did not stop them from getting spotted by Pj. As it was part of the plan though, Phil knew it would happen. Dan, on the other hand, was flat out pissed off.

"Well, it was nice seeing you Peej, but don't you have somewhere else to be?" Dan asks, hinting for him to leave.

"Oh no, I'm free all night!" Pj says, trying to hide how much Dan's anger is amusing him.

Dan clenches his teeth, "All night, huh?"

"Yup!" Pj smiles warmly, "Say, would you boys like to go on the Manchester wheel after this?"

"That's a great idea!" Phil exclaims. Dan lightly kicks his boyfriend's leg under the table, but he doesn't respond.

"I'll be right back," Dan announces, pointing towards the end of the hall and explaining, "Bathroom."

Once Dan is out of earshot, Pj falls into hysterics. "He's so ticked!"

Phil pouts, "I know! I feel kind of bad."

Pj's laughter dies down, "Don't worry Phil, come night time he'll be the happiness man alive."

"Are you sure?" Phil nervously bites his lip.
