Iris tugs on Skye's hand, pulling her into her bedroom.

"Wait." Skye stops her.

"What?" Iris replies, turning her head and smiling at the taller girl.

"Do your parents know I'm here?" Skye bites her lip anxiously.

Iris winks, "They'll figure it out."

Closing the door behind her, Iris leads them to her bed. Skye sits down hesitantly, then looks at the younger girl nervously.

Skye's small fit of laughter shakes. "You look like you're about to do something bad."

"What if I am?" Iris whispers, leaning in closer and moving strands of blonde hair away from Skye's face.

"But you wouldn't." Skye whispers back, looking into Iris' green orbs.

"Why not?"

"Because you're a good girl."

Iris leans in further, whispering into her ear, "Good girls are bad girls that haven't been caught."

Skye turns her head, looking into Iris' eyes again. Iris places her small hand on Skye's cheek and brings her closer, connecting their lips in a sweet kiss. Skye immediately responds, moving her lips with the brunette's. As the kiss deepens, Iris licks Skye's lower lip, asking for entrance. The blonde teases at first but eventually invites her in; their tongues dancing together in the kiss. Iris pushes her onto the bed, causing Skye to land on her back with Iris hovering over her.

"You little shit," Skye giggles quietly, before their lips meet again. She plays with Iris' hair until she feels a hand go up her shirt. "Hey you," She says cheekily, pulling away from the kiss and flipping them around so she's on top of Iris. "I'm in control."

They continue their little make-out session, refusing to go any further but not quite staying fully clothed.

It's the 15th of March. Just one more day until Iris has to start back up at school again. She's quite stressed about it but tries not to think too much.

Skye ended up staying the night on Friday and just went home about an hour ago. Iris misses her presence but is distracting herself by reading a book she found packed away in her bags. It's one of her favourites that she remembers reading back in the foster homes to get her mind off of things.

"Iris?" Phil interrupts her reading, poking his head into her room. "Could I talk to you for a moment?"

Putting her book away, Iris looks up at Phil. "Sure," she replies, motioning him to enter, "Come in."

Anxiously stumbling towards her bed, he hesitates before taking a seat at the end. Iris gives him a strange look, but doesn't think anymore of it. This is Phil, for crying out loud; he does some weird things.

"So, I'm not sure where to start with this," Phil states, looking at his shaking hands. "I guess I'll just say it."

There's a moment of silence in the air before Iris speaks up. "Well?" She giggles a bit, then leans closer to Phil to touch his shoulder. "Are you going to say it?"

"I- Uh-" Phil let's out a shaky laugh. "Wow this reminds me of when I came out to my parents."

"Just say it!" Iris pleads.

Phil quickly breathes out the words, "I want to propose to Dan."

Iris' body freezes in shock, she wants to smile but she can't bring herself to yet. She's too excited.

Phil takes this the wrong way, looking absolutely mortified. "Oh my gosh, is it too early? Am I stressing you out? I'm so sorry-"

"No!" Iris shouts, jumping right in front of Phil. She rambles, "No! No! This is amazing! I've always wanted to plan this with someone! Oh my gosh Daddy, we could make this so big and grand and Dan will cry from happiness and it'll be so adorable and we could film it and-"

Phil interrupts in a monotone, "As much as I'd love to film it, that sounds like a bad idea. It could get leaked to YouTube-"

"You've got to be kidding me," Iris sighs, leaning back into her pillows. "You have to come out to your fans someday. Besides, a good 80% already suspect it."

"But what if they-"

"Don't even go there."

"But-"

"No! It'll be alright, trust me!" Iris reassures him. "Now, as for the proposal, it has to be perfect! Give me your ideas."

"Well I was thinking I could take him out to dinner . . ."

"Yeah?" Iris urges him to continue.

"And then I could take him to the Manchester Wheel . . ."

Iris suddenly pauses, "Wait, what?"

"Well that's where we had our first kiss and-"

"Oh my gosh that's perfect!"

Phil smiles, his cheeks growing flustered.

Iris suddenly brings up the question, "Have you bought the ring yet?"

"Yeah," Phil replies, blushing even more. He hesitates before asking, "Wanna see it?"

"Yes!" She squeals.

Phil leaves the room and comes back two minutes later with a small black box hidden in his large hand. He joins Iris on her bed again and opens the box, revealing the most beautiful engagement ring she has ever seen.

"It may be quite rubbish but-"

"Holy cow, it's gorgeous! It's beautiful! It's- god damn I can't even find a good enough word to describe it, it's perfect!"

"You think he'll like it?" Phil chuckles.

"Hell yeah, he'll love it!" Iris giggles back. "When do you plan on doing this anyway?"

"Soon?" Phil gives Iris a question for an answer. "I'm not sure . . ."

"How about in a week?"

Phil's facial expression explodes in panic. "No way- I can't- I'm not- That's too-"

"Come on, Daddy! It's been like eighty years, I'm pretty sure he'll say yes." Iris pats Phil's shoulder.

"Alright." Phil agrees, "I'll make dinner reservations for Friday."
