"This one's all about best friends?" Dan's voice sounds through the small radio in the lounge, "I dedicate this to you, Phil."
"'Best friends' my ass," Iris mumbles, lazily sprawled out on the couch.
Louise gives her a bit of a jump-scare, unexpectedly breaking into a fit of laughter while walking back into the lounge. She had just tucked Darcy into Iris' bed, as she was extremely tired, and Iris liked her enough to offer up her bedroom.
"Don't you mean Dan's ass?" Louise jokes, playing with Iris' hair as she walks past her and takes a seat on the opposite couch. They share a laugh together before a comfortable silence falls between the two, Dan and Phil's radio show playing quietly in the background.
Louise suddenly gasps excitedly, "Do you want to give each other makeovers?" She asks Iris, sitting at the edge of her seat with a huge grin on her face.
Iris hesitates at first, thinking through the idea, before smiling and giving her head a nod to say 'Yes'
Taking out all of her products, Louise does Iris' makeup first. She gives her a subtle smokey-eye look, with little black eyeliner and mascara. She adds a tiny bit of white eyeliner in the corner, making Iris' big green eyes look even bigger. She fills in her eyebrows with a dark pencil, arching them upwards to give them more definition. She finishes the look by applying an unknown shade of lipstick to Iris' lips, causing them to look almost as pale as her skin; also giving off a little shine. Iris already has flawless skin with a natural blush to her cheeks, so Louise doesn't bother with any foundations, blusher, or bronzer. It's quite a casual look, though Iris looks stunning nonetheless.
Moving on to the younger lady's dark hair, Louise pulls it out of the careless ponytail it had been in all day. Gently combing through, she begins to part her hair and put a fishtail-braid through it. She then grabs her hair straightener - previously plugged into the wall and given time to heat up - and runs it over the braid. Iris has no idea what she is doing to her hair, though she doesn't object. Once satisfied, Louise puts her hair straightener down, finally taking the braid out and hair-spraying Iris' now crimped hair.
"Ta da!" Louise says, turning Iris around so she can look at herself in the mirror. Her eyes widen at the sight, and for once, she actually feels a little pretty. "You like it?"
"I love it," Iris says with a smile.
"Good!" Louise replies, heading back over to her bag to retrieve another item. "It's your turn now!" She shouts from afar. Making her way back into the lounge, she stops once she's facing Iris again. Holding up a professional-looking HD camera, she asks, "How would you like to do my makeup for YouTube?"
"Are you serious?" Iris asks, excitement seeping through her shock.
"Of course! Come on, pick out what you'd like to use while I set things up!"
As Louise removes the makeup she's currently wearing and places her camera onto her tripod, Iris looks at her variety of makeup placed on the coffee table. Louise presses the record button once the two are ready, and they both take a seat on the couch.
"Aloha Sprinklerinos!" Louise greets with a smile and wave.
Iris' facial expression floods with confusion, "Sprinkler-what?"
Louise let's out a small fit of laughter before pointing at her camera and saying, "That's what I call them!"
Still confused, Iris just let's it go, allowing Louise to continue with her intro. She zones out for a moment, her mind falling back to the memories of her past. She's tried hard to rid them of her mind, though it still haunts her to this day. If you see it up close, how could you ever forget?
