NATASHA WOKE UP TO WARM BREATHS OF AIR AGAINST HER CHEST. It was Steve, and he was warm. It sent waves of soothing heat along her tender body, swarming her stinging muscles. She let out a stuttered sigh, smiling in the way that Steve curled into her. The woman had never felt so pleasant before.

They were situated on a decent-sized queen bed with a thick mattress lining the bedframe. Sheets that swarmed them felt smooth and soft along the assassin's skin. Silk seemed to lace her bruised frame and Natasha couldn't help but wonder where and how they had access to such nice material.

She wore a silk nightgown that seemed too expensive to be real. But, then again, maybe she was back in Wakanda? With that thought on her mind, the Russian assassin gave out a pleasure-filled groan as she snuggled deeper into the satin sheets. Emerald eyes fluttered open as she took in Steve's slumbering form.

He truly looked beautiful in the moonlight so she spent a few moments just drinking in Steve's features. His smooth skin was illuminated and the woman smiled as she saw his pink, lush lips curved ever so slightly upward. A thick, dark forest of eyelashes entrapped his stunning sky eyes from view but Natasha knew she would be granted the ability to see them soon.

As the woman collapsed back against the bed, she let out a clarifying sigh. Nothing was amiss in her little world so she closed her eyes. That is until she snapped them open once more. Her breath caught in her chest because she suddenly felt sick to her stomach.

There was no pressure built up in her belly, no swarming sickness that encased her whole at night. The woman pressed her hands against her stomach to only find warm, squishy flesh. She was no longer swollen with life. There was no longer a baby within her.

Thats when the panic set in because she should be pregnant, shouldn't she? In the passing seconds, the woman struggled to catch her breath. Tears blurred her vision as confusion flooded her senses. Natasha hesitated to jostle Steve awake given how recently she told him the news. She irrationally feared that he would leave her over this.

But all that distress left when Natasha heard the piercing cry of a newborn through the air. And everything is okay in her world because she had the baby. Finally, the woman took a gasp in relief for the first time in what felt like forever. She allowed her pink lips to be encased in a smile as she stood from the bed. Only, she placed a tender kiss against Steve's pursed lips before standing.

Now, what is wrong with her little детка? Natasha wondered as she went in search of the noise. She could tell that she was in relatively close proximity with the baby, but it was only a matter of time until she was able to find her.
