Y/N's Pov
"Groceries?" I asked, while being really confused and a bit worried that we were going back to the previous 'training', but fortunately we weren't, and master finished explaining.
"Yeah, around once every three months some really important stuff finishes, and I need to get more of that." And as he handed me a list, he finished with. "Here's everything that we need. Don't expect to find any of this in the nearby town. You may only be able to find most of this at Akeno city, so use this opportunity to train your stamina" I actually recognized that name, but I wasn't really pleased with that, seeing as Akeno was really far away from here, but I then remembered something that almost made me smile, the Butterfly Mansion.
It was still a bit away, but I probably would be able to go pass and say hello, so that was good. However, I tried as hard as I could not to smile, because that would probably trigger Master, and he would make me do something else. "Yes, Master. I'll be on my way." I said to him, and so, he dismissed me.
I quickly gathered everything that I needed for the trip, but aside from the money that Master gave me, there wasn't really much, so I quickly left.
Since there wasn't anything slowing me down this time, and I knew the direction perfectly, I could go at full speed this time. I still wasn't near a fraction close to Master's speed, but the main thing he had taught me up till was the Constant Total Concentration. He said that it was one of the most advanced skills for a Demon Slayer, but that his previous pupil had learnt it in less than a month, so he didn't expect any less from me.
To be honest, he always compared me to that guy, from who I didn't even know his name, but I didn't mind it too much. It was starting to get a bit repetitive, so it was annoying, but I couldn't help being a bit curious about this guy, so I wanted to meet him some time.
Thanks to the Constant Concentration I was able to keep a good pace all the way, and in just a couple of hours I was able to get to my country house. "Mr. Takashi!" I exclaimed while stopping just infront of his shop.
"Y/N!" He exclaimed, at first I thought he did it out of happiness, but as he approached me, I realized that his face showed worry. "Where have you been?! What happened to you?!" I was a bit confused about all of this, so I asked him.
"What do you mean?" He then calmed down a bit, or rather, he got a bit sad.
"After neither you nor your mom came here in weeks, some of us started worrying about you two. So I went up to check on you, and only found...well, I think you know." Now I understood what he meant, and it made me get a bit sad as well, but I tried to cover it as much as I could and said to him.
"Yeah, it all happened so fast that I didn't even got time to tell you." It was a bit hard, but thanks to the time since all of that happened, I was able to keep myself together, and even though I wasn't at my 100% due to this, I managed to hold myself together.
"I'm sorry, Y/N." He said while also giving me a warm hug. It actually helped me feel a bit safer, and as just a couple of tears left my eyes, I replied.
"Thanks...It means a lot." We stayed like that for around a minute, and once we separated, Mr. Takashi offered me something.
"Anyway, have you eaten anything today? Wanna come in to have something?" While it was a bit tempting to do so, I was a bit late already, so I said.
"No thanks, I've just had breakfast." And as I headed towards the Butterfly Mansion, I exclaimed. "Thanks for everything, Mr. Takashi!" And then sprinted away from there. In the background I could faintly hear him say goodbye to me, and I couldn't help feeling extremely grateful to him.
