Y/N's Pov

After Shinobu punched me lightly, I could tell that she was feeling a bit embarrassed, and maybe annoyed by something. I honestly didn't know why was that, but I could also assume that it wasn't anything too serious, as she tends to act like that every once in a while. So, instead of focusing too much on that, I simply offered her my hand to hold, hoping to lift up her spirit.

Fortunately, this seemed to work, as she took my hand, and while she still didn't look directly at me, I could already see that her expression had changed quite a lot. This made me really happy, and after she said to me. "Y-Yeah, let's get going." I just walked out of the room with her hand tightly wrapped around with mine.

I was so happy that I didn't even think about what would my friends say about this. I knew they already knew about it, and even though they were okay with it, they would most likely still tease the two of us, however, by this point, I didn't care anymore, sure it would be embarrassing, but holding onto Shinobu like this was simply more worth it.

She was a bit more nervous about this though, as we approached the exit, and she asked me. "Hey, Y/N, just to be clear, should we tell your friends about what's going on between the two of us? I mean, I think it would be useful information for the mission, and I feel somewhat bad that we're going to 'use them' to finish our next mission as quickly as possible. Besides, won't they be weirded out by the fact that we're holding hands once we go out?" And at that moment, I remembered that I had forgotten to mention the fact that they already knew, since they caught me cooking her some food, and while at no moment did I openly say that she was my girlfriend, it was clear that they had assumed as much.

"Well, about that..." I started saying. "They already know about it. I don't think they have any confirmation, but since we weren't precisely sneaky about it, they've already assumed everything by themselves. And don't worry too much about it, I'm sure they'll still tease me a lot about it, but overall, they seemed pretty supportive." At first, the only thing she could do after hearing this was exclaim a 'WHAT?!!!' But after I finished explaining everything, she managed to get a hold of her breath once again, and once she was finally calmed down, she said.

"A-Alright then...I guess that saves us that conversation then..." Looking at her, it was clear that she was still quite nervous about things, and it was probably mostly due to the shock of the revelation, but after it finished processing, she asked me. "So...I assume that it's alright to walk out like this infront of them?" To which I answered.

"Well, it depends." I started saying. "If you don't mind being tease quite a bit, and suffering from embarrassment about being seen be this close to your boyfriend, then I guess it's alright." I then finished it off with a mug smile directed right at her, somewhat trying to make fun of the sarcasm she used now a days, and it actually seemed to work, as she just looked at with an angry look, taking away some of her embarrassment, and making me laugh a bit.

I could tell that she was about to turn around while being angry with me, but I didn't want that right now, so I quickly said. "As for me, I don't mind it. Even if they tease me, and it feels embarrassing, holding your hand feels even better." And then changed my smug smile to a more genuine one, which seemed to finally do the trick, as she shifted from the annoyed pout to an astonished look with a pretty big blush.

She was quick to catch onto this change in her expression though, however, she still wasn't able of hiding it, so she could only turn around, and tried to say. "C-C'mon...Don't be like that...B-But if you don't m-mind its t-though...Then I guess i-it's alright as well...I don't mind it." It was cute to see her like that, and since everything else was done, we simply walked out of the house.

Once there, my friends turned to look at us, and after a couple of seconds of looking, they clearly took notice of us holding hands, and while Chugi and Jujun seemed to not mind it, or at least kept their opinions for themselves, however, the same wasn't true for Tero.
