Y/N's Pov
After I left Kocho back at the mansion, I focused on getting back with Master as soon as possible. Even though much of the stuff I bought wasn't really heavy at all, they were a bit too big for me, making it hard to bring back, however, it wasn't impossible. So, while it took me more time than before, I arrived just a bit after dark, so I was just in time.
As I arrived at the little area of the forest that Master owned, I started calling for him, just to see if he was still awake. "Master! I'm back!" I exclaimed, but seeing as he didn't come out of any of the rooms, and neither did I hear a response, not even a groan from him in the case he was asleep, I was a bit confused.
Looking around for a bit, I wondered if he was out for the moment, but he always said that going out at night was forbidden, and he took it very seriously. With that option discarded, the only idea that I had was that he might be too deep in his sleep that he didn't hear me.
If this was correct, then he probably was in his room, so, after the leaving the stuff I brought in the depot, I walked up there, climbed the ladder to his room, and looked around. "Master? You here?" But once again, I didn't receive an answer. 'Where could he be?' I asked to myself, as I got inside the room.
I thought about looking around for something that could tell me where he went, when I suddenly tripped with something on the floor. "Ouch! What is this?" I exclaimed, while turning to look at what made me trip.
It was hard to see in the darkness, so I could barely see a black lump on the floor. "Huh?" I said, but just as I was about to see what it was, the lump started moving, scaring me a bit.
"What's with all the *hip* noise." I heard, and after squinting my eyes for a bit to see what it was, I distinguished Master. "Oh, *hip* and who might you *hip* be?" Just by looking at him I could easily understand what he had been doing the entire day, and to be honest, I was really shocked. He never showed an attitude that he would do something like this, and I didn't even know that he had sake, but I didn't judge and just tried to help him.
"I'm your student, Y/N. I came back from buying the stuff you told me, but it's already pretty late, so why don't you go to sleep?" And then I got to his side to take him to bed, and he was surprisingly okay with it.
"Fine. I'm tired anyway." But that's when things took a turn for the worst. "Wait! Where's Hart?!" He suddenly exclaimed. I was so confused by this that I didn't know what to do at the moment.
"Umm, who's Hart?" Asking the first I idea I had, so I did it, but it didn't help to calm him.
"My *hip* Brother! Where Is He?!" He was starting to get aggressive, but I didn't know what to do, so the best I could think of was to try and explain the situation to him.
"C-Calm down, Master. I don't know who's Hart, but he's not here at the moment. Now, look, it's clear that you're not yourself right now, so let's get you to bed, and tomorrow we can talk this." However, it didn't work at all, and instead, he got even more angry and screamed.
"NO! WHERE'S MY BROTHER?!!!" And then tried to throw his bottle of sake at me.
I managed to stop him before he threw it, but it ended up falling to the floor. "C'mon, Master! This isn't like you!" I exclaimed, but this didn't appease him, and instead he went for a punch to my face.
I was worried that it would be painful, seeing as he seemed to be still really fit, however, it was way weaker than I expected, and even had a bit of backslash on him, because he backed up in pain.
Unfortunately, I was unable to react on time, and he had enough time to lunge at me and choke me. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM?!!!" But just like last time, he barely had any strength on his hands, and it wasn't even an annoyance to breath.
