Y/N's Pov

After the girls introduced themselves to our friends, we all finally went inside the house, and while Shinobu went to the kitchen to see what to eat, I went with the guys to the dining room, where we sat down and started talking for a bit. I would've honestly preferred to help around in the kitchen, especially since the girls were there and I missed talking with them a bit, but this wasn't bad either.

While we were talking, the topic of our last fight came up, and I honestly really did have a lot to say to them. "Honestly guys, I didn't get the chance to say this after our last mission, but I confirmed it after this one. You have improved quite a lot since the Final Selection." They all seemed quite surprised by it, and Jujun even said that I was praising them too much, while Chugi simply looked extremely proud about it.

This was a bit fun to see, but then Tero said. "Same for you. I caught a glimpse of you and Kanshu fighting during our previous mission, and I was amazed to see your axe and chain flying around. It really looked like you were surrounded by a veil of sand." This in return surprised me quite a bit, as I said.

"Really? I'm glad." And as I took of my weapon, and placed it off to the side, since I had forgotten to do so earlier, I continued with. "I think I'm slowly starting to get the knack of my breathing, since I'm developing my own and all that, but I was worried that it wasn't really amounting to nothing. I'm glad to hear you think it's good, Tero." Now that that was done, I simply went back to the rest, thinking about what to say, however, as I turned to look at Tero, I could see that he had something else to say.

I was confused, since he looked a tad bit nervous, but simply waited for him to talk, and that's when he said. "Well, yeah, it's amazing, don't get me wrong, but I think I noticed something that bugs me." He said, which instantly picked my curiosity, so I paid attention to whatever he had to say, and that's when he explained. "So, correct me if I'm wrong, but you have a hard time managing your center of balance, don't you? I mean, it's just that, when you used your axe to fight, everything seemed fine, but every time I saw you trying to incorporate your flail, not only would your speed decrease by quite a lot, but I could also notice that you were wobbling a lot, and I was starting to wonder if you had any trouble balancing yourself while fighting with it." Actually, he was right on the nose, as even though Master and I tried to reduce this issue as much as possible by giving me a smaller flail to use, but it still didn't solve it entirely, as I still had to deal with a lot of trouble while balancing myself.

I let out a sigh, and as I rubbed the back of my neck, I replied to him. "Yeah. Honestly, it's quite hard for me to keep my balance while moving that thing around. It's so bad that I've been trying to avoid using it for the forms I'm developing for my breathing. I've thought of a couple that I could use it in, so it doesn't become death weight to me, but honestly, either they don't really stick with my style, or I could just as easily use my axe instead, and I would probably get better results. I'm at a standstill with that one." It was a bit embarrassing to admit all of this, but I honestly did so in the hopes that they would be able of helping me somehow, and surprisingly, they actually did.

Looking at Jujun and Tero, they did seem to try to think of something more elaborate, as it was clear that they were wracking their brains, but that's when Chugi simply spoke up with. "Why don't you just use two axes?" We were all slightly taken aback by this, and as he took notice of this, he continued with. "I don't know, to me it sounds like the whole concept of bringing a flail to battle is a disadvantage to you. It's not like you're really trying to learn the stone breathing anyway, so why not change it a bit more if it helps?" Hearing this, we all started to consider it.

I'm not very sure what Jujun or Tero though about, but I simply remembered the few breathing forms that I had already developed for my breathing, and after repeating them in my head, but with the mental image of having two axes, instead of just one and a flail, it did seem like my movements would be more fluent.
