Both me and Shinobu were simply admiring the scenery, as the wind blew lightly across the patch of flowers infront of us, resulting in a fresh breeze that kept us fresh, and with the sun in the perfect angle, it managed to keep us warm as well, while also not blinding us with a shine of light right to our eyes. Overall, I would say it was really the perfect day.

I then took a very deep breath, almost as if I wanted to keep this exact breath of air with me forever to remember it. After that, I stretched out a bit, and remembering how Mother would be during a day like this, I asked to Shinobu. "Hey, D-Darling, would you like to go for a walk?" And before even getting to process my request, she first took notice of the way I called her.

After hearing it, she immediately lit up in a light blush, to which I could only let out a chuckle, and while I had already done this back when she just woke up, I was still bit embarrassed to say it myself, though I did like the result, so I was certainly going to keep at it.

As for her, she was pretty embarrassed, but surprisingly enough, she didn't seem to be annoyed at all. Like I knew she still could get annoyed if I did something to bother her, though he annoyance would be extremely low compared to other people, however, this time wasn't the case, as I could notice a light glint of happiness on her face, right before she turned to hide it. Which just reaffirmed my thought, since she was just trying to act tough right now, and made everything even cuter.

It still took her a second to speak, and then she said. "C-C'mon...Don't start giving me those dorky nicknames just because we're d-dating..." And not only did this phrase of hers made me let out small laugh, but at the same time, it made let out a small internal scream at how cute she was right now, especially with the fact that I managed to catch a glimpse of her wide smile while telling me this.

"But you liked it, didn't you?" I asked to her, and that's when she even jolted a bit from the impression, as she surely didn't expect me to realize it, and so, I decided to push it, even if just a little more. "You even called me darling back a while ago, don't you remember? When you just woke up?" This was the point where she realized that there was no getting out, and so, she had to think of something else.

The first thing she did was turn to look at me, but as she did so, she tried to hide her smile as much as she could, which resulted in a pretty funny expression from her. I did manage to hide my laugh thought, because otherwise she would probably get actually annoyed, and instead just waited for her reaction.

Afterwards, she said. "B-But that was only because I was barely waking up! You caught me at a weak moment." And then turned to look away with a pout, but I knew that, whit just a bit more pushing, she would let go of it.

I then scooted closer to her, and after wrapping my arms around her, I said. "But you liked it, didn't you?" And after some grunting and trying to protest against me, Shinobu had no way of escaping, and in the end, could only say.

"Yeah. I liked it...D-Darling." And hearing her say this again to me made me really happy, so I left a kiss on her cheek, which she didn't return jut yet due to the embarrassment, which made me laugh a bit.

After a couple more seconds, just so she would get a moment to breath and relax after all that teasing, I asked once again. "So, would you like to go for a walk? It's a pretty nice day, so I think it would be a bit of a waste if we didn't." She then took a moment to think about it, though I'm pretty sure there wasn't anything for her to decide, and was instead just doing so to mess with me.

Either way, she didn't take long before deciding, and once she did, she turned to look up at me, since I had placed my head on top of hers, and then replied. "Yeah. That would be delightful." After that, we got up from the swing, but before we left for the forest, Shinobu said. "But give me a second to leave the flower crown back in my room. It's a bit too embarrassing to go around with it on." I was a bit saddened by this, so I said to her.
