Y/N's Pov

Me and Shinobu had just woke up after having to sleep through a thunderstorm, and if I was completely honest, there was no way I could've gone through it without her help, and I felt more in love with her than I had ever before.

I liked her for quite a while already, and I knew to appreciate her since the first time I got here, but right now, I really valued what it meant to have her in my life. The way in which she treated me last night, and the warmth embrace that she used to wrap me. I just couldn't really imagine not knowing her right now.

After she made sure that I was completely fine, Shinobu got up from the futon, and started looking for some clothes for today. I was just taking a couple more seconds to fully wake up, since last night was still a bit too rough on me, however, before neither of us were done with our things, three little girls came to Shinobu's door.

All three Sumi, Kiyo, and Naho came over, and after they quickly opened the door, they started chanting. "HOT CHOCOLATE!!! HOT CHOCOLATE!!!" Surprising the two of us quite a lot.

Luckily enough for us, Aoi was coming close behind them and was able to explain a bit. "Sorry about, Shinobu. It's just that this three came running at the kitchen as soon as they woke up, and were a bit upset that there wasn't any hot chocolate prepared for them." After hearing this, Shinobu suddenly remembered what she had promised them last night, so she replied.

"Right. Sorry about that. I had a bit of a complicated night. We'll be there in a minute." The three little girls were ecstatic about this, as they suddenly ran away, presumably towards the kitchen, however, Aoi stayed behind.

She was confused about something Shinobu said, so she quietly repeated. "We?..." And she moved her gaze across the room, her eyes landed on me, and that's when she took notice of me. "Oh...I see. You two had a good night?" And this was also when I realized that it wasn't as good that she was the one to come with the three girls.

Anyway, after she asked this, Shinobu just rolled her eyes, and as she walked to the door, she said. "Just go already and prepare the fire, please." I then could faintly hear Aoi say something. Probably just some sassy comment, but it was quickly shrugged off by Shinobu.

After that was dealt with, Shinobu just turned around, and after letting out a sigh, she said. "Alright. Get up already Y/N. Go get ready and help me with the hot chocolate. This is your fault in some way, you know?" I already knew that I was going to help her with this, but there was something in her way of talking right now that made me want to help even more.

Whatever that was, I simply got up, and then said. "Y-Yes, Ma- I mean, Shinobu..." Looking at her, I could notice that she was very confused about what I said, since there was surely no reason as to why I had to be confused right now.

I wanted to explain it to her, as I believed that it would be fairly easy to explain, but when I opened my mouth to speak, there was just nothing coming out of it, and after maybe a second more of trying, I just gave up and went on my way.

Once in my room, I tried to figure out what was that feeling, but as much as I thought about it, the only thing I could come up with was that I just liked her enough for me to want to obey her with any command she gave me. It was a bit of an embarrassing thought, as I didn't think I would change that much for her, but at the same time, I didn't feel like it was that bad, since it was Shinobu.

I'm not really sure how much longer I would take to think about it by myself, but even if I wanted more time, Shinobu called out for me. "Y/N! You coming already?" Making me snap out of my trance.

"C-Coming!" I exclaimed back to her, and after making sure that I had everything from my room, I went towards the kitchen to help.

Walking inside there, I was quick to see what everyone was doing. Aoi was preparing the fire, which with a quick glance, I could tell that it was pretty much done already. Looking back a bit, I saw Kanao being basically taken over by Sumi, Kiyo, and Naho, and even if she wanted to help, it would be very hard for her to get away from them. Though she seemed to be having a good time.
