⚠New chapters are being put it in. There are side-story mixed into this book! I am working on adding in as well. Moments with Erwin, Hange Levi, and Mike.
I woke up in the middle of nowhere in the wilderness, where danger could be around every corne...
"What.?" He looked up from his papers. Erwin glanced at me with his head tilted."If Erwin...was still around, what would you say to him?" Levi's jaw hung open a bit, his eyes were wide at my sudden question. Even Erwin was staring at me, the face he held was priceless.
"Why are you asking me such a question?" 'Geeze...Levi I was only curious.' I sighed to myself, seeing Erwin made it even harder not to blurt it out.
"Just answer the damn question..." I mumbled. Levi's eyes were shocked that I dared to speak to him like that. He swallowed it though as no threat. I might be a lot taller than him, but I didn't have his strength. He could easily flip me over. 'Why..though..why did I seem to hold some sort of feelings for this man? he might be cold, harsh, but he...was actually a softy deep down..., and cared about certain people.' Those thoughts would smack me in the face sometimes.
"...Id..." He began. My ears perked up at his softer tone. "Id tell him, I tried...to eradicate the titans, and I hope he is peace. We all miss you Erwin."
I saw Levi avert his eyes a bit from me when he said the last part. He was getting emotional? They....were really good friends of course. Erwin gave Levi a better life than the underground.
I see Erwin's diamond eyes begin to glitter a bit nodding his head at Levi's words. Wait, was Erwin?? getting emotional too? It took all I had to not have my jaw drop to the floor.
It only took a second for Levi's face to snap back to normal and relaxed. His head shot up as if nothing happened. "Now drink your tea, I am not reboiling it." His silver eyes met mine.
"Sir...!" I joked. "Tch....again with that." I looked up from my tea cup checking to see if he was mad. "Hm??" He was not mad. "Nope." I shake my head making my hair flutter. "Really now.." I see a small grin plant on his lips.
I gulped down my tea and dismissed myself. I was about to limp out of the room to my bedroom. Levi quickly held out an arm, blocking me from advancing. There was no use pushing through. I narrowed my eyes a bit down at him.
"What.?" Levi glanced up from his teacup. His eyes met mine once again. He sat there with his legs crossed. He didn't say anything, and I was beginning to question him more. I suddenly felt a slight touch on my free-flowing hair, then it dropped to my shoulder. 'What's with him??'
"There is no..point in hiding it, I can tell you are in pain." His blunt words made my stomach drop. "I'm not talking about your knee." He adds. I was stupid thinking Levi couldn't tell, how much I missed my friends, and how much passed events crushed me inside. I tried to hide it. He knows me too well.
He let go of my shoulder, while his other arm still blocked me from moving. He gently picked up my hand, giving it a small squeeze and dropping it in two seconds. "I placed a new scented candle in your room." He pulled his arm back after that, he was going to let me pass now.
"When your knee is not bothering you anymore, back to training."
"Okay." I replied to him. I made my way finally back to my room, Erwin in his spirit form followed me.
I closed the door making sure I whispered. "I wish I could have told him..Erwin." The tall blonde placed a hand on my shoulder. "I know...just a bit longer...I just feel like we should wait." Erwin being more of an older brother to me, pulled me into a hug. Giving me a nice big squeeze. Still, no one would see this, not Levi either.
"You were a good soldier ____, remember that. I knew you and Levi would get along someday. Anytime he snapped, I would get a bit stern with him."
"Hah...yeah..I remember.. He wasn't very nice to me in the beginning."
"No...he was not. I think he was also..fighting away from his side of being nice, even though he wanted to be nicer. He might have even been a bit jealous of you...and Eren being better friends. Let alone his titan form. Levi didn't understand why you wanted to see a, disgusting form of a titan. At least that's what I think he would say." Erwin let go of me and sat down on the bed.
"I don't hate Levi, or even Eren....even if Eren was..." "No need to say it, I understand. Do you need me to stay here while you fall asleep?" That was right, some night when my nightmares haunted me. He would help by just staying in my room, and try talking to me. Many times I didn't want to tell Levi or even bother him with such things. It was just to avoid an annoyed raven-haired man.
"I think I'll be okay for now. Thanks anyway." Erwin smiled. "Very well...I will let you rest. Goodnight."

Time passed, I was trying to sleep. Even lit the candle Levi got me. I still wasn't able to rest. 'N-nooo...I don't wanna...I shouldn't..' I thought. I shouldn't bother Levi, he himself barely slept a couple of hours a day. I facepalmed myself. 'Dammn it...'
I slip out of bed with my nightclothes on. I shuffled out into the halls. Swallowing I knock on Levi's door.
"State business." A raspy tired voice came through. "Can..I come int....?"I tried.
"Hm...fine. Enter." I slowly opened the door, seeing Levi only sitting on his bed. He was still awake. "Tell me, what is it you want..?" He looked at his papers.
"...I...couldn't sleep...I tried....but-" My voice was cut off, as Levi pointed at the bed. "....get in. I'll just use the chair, not like I haven't done that before."
That was fast.
"I uh...really?"
"Yes.., now hurry. Before I change my mind. Stay quiet though I'm thinking." He didn't exactly snap, at me, it was more like. Please stay quiet, and let me have my peace. Levi moved off the bed, as soon as I sat down. He shuffled over to his chair. His bed smelt clean....and fresh.
I see him light a candle. It was a vanilla scent, with maybe hints of lavender. I pulled my sheets up over me and sink down. It didn't take me long to fall asleep after that. Even before Levi noticed I was out cold.
'Hm, guess the candle worked. Good.., she can finally sleep peacefully.' He closed his book, and pulled a blanket up over him, he set his head down on the desk, looking at me from the distance. With one last breath, he blew out the candle.
