I had sat down while Erwin began to look at the wound I had from Kenny.
His bullet that was aimed at Levi and me skimmed by either knicking me or it was a piece of the roof.
"Well... sir. Since you asked."
Erwin looked at me okwardly for calling him sir now. We were close yet I called him that.
"Levi and I were in a battle. There was a man practically hunting us. Levi called him Kenny."
Hange was getting curious as well. "Im sorry but we lost another member. I couldn't save Nifa. She was shot.. by Kenny."
Hange sighed." Its okay.._ you tried."
I went tense while Erwin disinfected my wound. "What else is there? How much do you know about this Kenny?" Erwin asked while carefully wrapping my shoulder up.
I felt a embarrassed that he could see me with no shirt on. There was no other way to wrap my wound. Erwin tightened the fabric against my skin. Making me breath in.
"I don't know much.. sorry. Levi for sure dose. I didn't have time to ask. Kenny any his men were chasing us. I had to go into a bar to see if I could loose his group. We were outnumbered."
Erwin dropped his hand. "Done." He tried to let me know he was finished wrapping. My mind was such a mess. Hange handed me my shirt. I scrambled to quickly cover myself.
Buttoning up my collar I sat back in the chair. "Thank you.. Erwin."
"No problem ___. If you have too much pain Hange should have something for pain in HQ.
"Im sorry to interrupt but.., I think we should go." Moblit speaks up from the corner. There is movement on the streets.
My eyes widen.'No! I did not want to leave Erwin yet. This wasnt fair." I looked at Hange, then Erwin.
"Before you go. I was thinking about the next survey core commander." Erwin looked at Hange.
"It's you Zöe Hange." "W-wha?!" She gasped, chocolate brown eyes full of shock.
I was so happy for Hange I could cry. I looked at Erwin. Wanting to say goodbye. Truly I didn't but Moblit was getting worried. Telling us to go.
Erwin sighed and put his arms around my shoulder. "Go ___, you still have lots to do. I would have been nice if we could just talk like old times over tea. Zöe Hange needs your assistance, stay with her. We will have to keep our tra time for a future time. Also if you see Levi deliver this letter to him please." He pulled away from my hug and placed the letter in my hands.
My already messed up mental state just got worse. Erwin gave me a small smile. "Take care of yourself."
He put one more letter in my hand, that had my name written on it.
"____ lets go." Hange reached over and grabbed my hand and started pulling me away. Erwin waved at me with a smile. 'No-no..! 'I didn't want to leave the poor man here alone.
I was dragged out the door, out the window and right back up on the roof.
