Well she seemed happy as always. I wasn't sure if seeing her was a good or bad thing. Over the month Erwin I was gone according to Erwin, my injured eye seemed to heal to a point, but was still weak. It would take some time for my vision to come back fully it seemed.
I slowly nod my head. Trying to tell her I felt alright. "Oh.., come now. It's alright to sat you feel bad, you don't need to play brave. We..know.." After chirping happy her voice fell.
"After...uh...we saw the.....events in the court room. I'm..really sorry for not being to step in to help. Mike and I couldn't bare seeing this happen." She walked up to me, eyeing what seemed to be my injuries. My head sunk a bit down, remembering...Levi's tall looking figure from that angle....about to swing down at my face with his boot.
My eyes snapped wide open, as I swallowed trying to shake it out of my mind. "Hey...what's wrong..? something do you, wait do you're wounds hurt?" The brunette looked at me with concern. I slowly bring up my hand to my throat, pointing at it. Making her eyes flicker a bit. "Mike.....!?" Suddenly she called out, making me almost jump at her voice. 'W-wait?!? Mike??'
"Could you bring ____ something to drink. Maybe tea!?" She still shouts from across the room, to the open outside. 'WAit? how the hell dose she even know he is there???'
That was when I heard a soft knock on the door, and the sound of boots shuffling off. 'Holy....titan....he really was there.' 'Wait...? titan. God....I hang too much around this person...'
"I assume you're throat is feeling rather dry, now....could I please look at you're eye?" I nod my head slowly.
A few minuets later she took a step back. "Hmm, not bad. There is almost no scar left anymore, which is a surprise. considering you...uh..I didn't check on it for a while." She tried to make it sound less painful to hear. However, the events still stung deep inside me. "Do you see evenly?" I blink my eyes a bit, and shake my head sadly."Oh, well I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of time."
I could just picture the day I was yanked away from Levi's grasp. Getting shoved through the doorway, while I screamed in anger, and worry. I tore off my bandage from my eye, throwing it down on the ground of his room. That was the last time I talked to him.
There was another soft knock on the door. When It began to open up. Showing Mike in the doorway, with a cup steaming in his hand. Right away I knew it was tea. "Oh..! Mike great. Here...bring it in." Hange stepped away as the tall blonde walked up to my form sitting on the bed.
"Hello....____.." He greeted in a soft mono tone voice. Trying to smile from the corner of my lips I looked up at him. But the pain of my face moving made me wince, as I stopped right away. "...here...this should help..." He set his knees on the ground, handing me the warm cup. The temperature being just right.
I took my first sip of tea. Making my cold body shutter from the feeling. It burned my throat in a way. As it felt less raw. This tea also seemed sweet...making me feel a bit happy, from the touch of honey he must of added.
As I sipped my tea, the two quietly talked, not wanting to bother me throat recovery time. They knew it would take a bit for the effect of the tea to kick in before I could speak. Truth was...that I wanted nothing more that just to hug them, run up to them, and thank them from getting me out of the jail I was thrown in. Seeing Mike, and Hange way back when I was in the cold cell melted my heart.
"At least that's what I think.." Hange's words cut me out of my mind. Making me look up at two. Sensing my stare Mike glanced back at me with his crystal blue eyes. "Don't worry. We won't leave you. I promise. You are a member of the scouts after all."
