Training

Its been 2 days since I became a member of the scouts. I had to do training every day, I spent most of my time working with the horses, and cleaning the stables.
I just got my uniform this morning, along with the cape that had the wings of freedom on it, just like everyone else
My wounds were healing nicely. I still had small cuts, but being me I ignored the pain. At night I was chained to my bed, and during the day I wore the cuff.

"...( Guess I need more time to earn their trust...).."


"Here you go, your horse." The cute blonde young woman called Christa smiled at me. "This is Spirit." I looked up at the beautiful horse. ( Aww....he's so cute) I smiled gently reaching over to pet the tall black horse. "Hehe, your so cute." I said to the horse, Spirit only dropped his head lower, as I pet him.

"Haha, looks like he likes you. Lucky you, i'v been told this horse runs like the wind from titans. Oh, come to think of it the Captain told me to give you him." Christa smiled, petting Spirit one last time. " Also, I have been told to help train you in ridding a horse, with swords in your hands, in case of an attack on you while on horseback."

"Alright..! that's fine by me." I was happy, knowing Spirit was now my horse.

"Alright, then let's start, let's see how much you know. Try mounting him."
I nod. Putting the reins over Spirit's head, I walked to his side and put one of my feet in the stirrups, and to my surprise, I actually pulled myself up on the tall animal. Scout's horses were always really tall, just by looking around. Guess it's a better advantage to run away from titans using their long legs.

"Wow. I did it." I looked down at Christa, her eyes wide. "Wow, say did you ever ride a horse before?"
"Well... I don't really remember if I did or not, it seems natural to me though." I patted Spirit's neck.


"Guess we will be done sooner, then Levi thought. Lets go!!" Just like that she was on her grey mare. Now we shared the same height in the sky.

We lightly kicked the horse's sides and began to walk off. Fail to see the figure standing next to the window looking at us.



{ The Talk}

"Eren."Levi's voice made him turn.

"Y-yes?

"I want you to keep a eye on those two while they are out training. Don't let them out of your sight, Understood?"

"Yes Sir!"

The two males not in agreement, and Eren takes them down to the stables.



Levi stared out the window a little longer, seeing us leave. "💨Haa.........* leans back with a cup of tea* Those two are too alike, I can't afford having them goof off, when danger is always close."

* Clop clop clop* We where out farther now, we couldn't even see the castle anymore in this wide open grassy field. It was soo peaceful, and clam outside now.
As we kept on walking the horses, my eyes wandered down to the cuff on my arm. Even if it was under my sleeve, parts of it was still seen. I had to be careful to not rub my arm raw again, or even I couldn't go back.

".....I feel bad for you."

"Huh..?" I looked up at Christa's words. "They chained your wrist, it must be..painful after a while to have on........, I don't think you are a bad person."
I blinked, then slightly smile at her. " It's....alright. I'm pretty much use to it. Guess... trust takes time to gain."

"True, but I trust you. So if something is bothering you. Me, and Eren are hear for you."

"T-thanks..Christa."I felt happy knowing there were people here that trusted me. ( Still....once I gain everyone's trust, especially Levi's. That will be the day)


' Please, Believe me, I am not a threat. I WILL Train Hard.'

"Right..! here try holding this, as you ride. I know usually we would be trained for a year, but we have no choice here. You need to learn fast, on how to live out here."

I nod, taking the long sword from Christa, it had a gun-like handle on it. Just by looking at it, I knew what this was for. 'To slice those titans.'




*THUD thud Thud thud thud!* I galloped towards Christa as fast as I could. I gripped the sword and began to raise my arm higher...., and higher.
As I gripped my legs, around the horse's belly. My sword stood high to the sky, I lifted my other hand up as well, letting go of the reins. I balanced myself, by legs alone.

"YAAH..! Nice job ____!!" Christa called out me, as I dashed by her. Quickly I grabbed the reins, with my only hand. Right away slowing down to a trot.
*clop clop clop...clop. clop* I turned around and went back to Christa.

"Great job! The team will surly be happy."

"Hehe, I couldn't do it without him. Thanks, Spirit..!" I patted my Black Stallion's neck. Strange usually stallion were really wild, and not many people could ride them, but just looking at his eyes. He had kindness, and fire in him.




In the distance.(💨... well that a relief, glad they are doing well. Awesome job____!!!) Eren cheered inside his head. His emerald eyes, were shiny and bright.





Christa, and I sat by a tree, and ate the little food we brought with us. We watch while our two horses ate the fresh green grass. "We should head back after this, we trained a lot."

"Sure." As soon as I said that.

* Snap...*


"❗❗"


"W-what was that?" I felt a sudden chill run down my back. "We better go..." Christa stood up in worry.
"Y-yeah....something seem off..." I put the reins over Spirit's head.
