We arrived back at Levi and Hange's home. I live here too but I requested to meet with Erwin. While Levi and Hange were going inside I slowly backed away and started heading in the direction of the blonde's house.
Levi noticed I wasn't following him and quietly turned on his heel. "___..!" He called my name, but I kept on walking. I needed some time away from him. As much as I like Levi, Erwin was nice to talk with.
"I'll be back eventually, don't wait for me," I whispered. Levi still heard it. He looked at me with some sadness in his eyes as I left. 'What was so important that she would leave this late in the day?' He pondered the question.
'Erwin's home. Looks nice from out here.'
I raised my hand and knocked on the door. It didn't take long to open ."Hello there, please come in. Michael is home too if you don't mind:" Erwin's soft calm voice said.
"No.. Miche is nice."
"Here have a seat, I just made some tea. They call this green tea. Do you know it?"
"Yes I do, it's one of my favourites." Erwin smiled softly.
"So tell me what's on your mind?" I had the blonde man's full attention.
"W-well it's kinda a mix of things."
"No matter what it is, I'm here to help." He smiled at me.
"Well in the forest yesterday, Eren, Levi and I went to go do training. Hange said there was a storm coming, but Levi pushes us to train in the trees on our gear."
"Yes..I see. Hange did tell me you three were out." I continued to tell Erwin how the storm came, heavy rain. Levi just vanished we could find him and I worried. We found the cabin only later on Levi came back looking exhausted.
"Well, I can tell you care about Levi. That makes me glad. Any idea why he was out alone at night?" Erwin asked.
"N-no..maybe the storm hindered him. I had an awful feeling in my gut then. He came back eventually and made me and Eren spar against each other. At some point, I was back into the corner."
I explain to Erwin when Levi wanted me to finish Eren off, give him one last hit. I froze in, unsure. I nearly trembled to see the brunette man look at me with worry.
"When I refused to take Eren down for the last time. Levi seemed to..get a bit upset with me. I was forced to fight Levi for not following what he said."
"Hmm, you are kind hearted___, that's why you did that. From what I know Eren did a lot of bad after I..passed. I think Levi wanted you to show him how much of an idiot he was. I don't blame you though. It may seem strange but because you did that Levi also took your actions as brave. That's why he fought back with you. He was testing you in a way." The blonde tried to explain to me.
"Y-yeah..but Levi did sort of hurt me. I was so worried for a second he was going to hit me. So I got mad."
Erwin's diamond blue eyes widen, hearing me say that.
(FlashBack)
"NO." *SLAM* He stepped on my foot, not letting me kick him. I quickly brought my other foot towards him. He only kicks it away, locking it with his. I couldn't move my feet.
'Damn.' I hissed.
There was only one thing that crossed my mind, and this was gonna suck. I threw my head forward. Knocking my head with Levi's.
We both hissed in pain.
"TCh..ahh...!" Just like that Levi dropped my arms and backed up. In less than a second, he tucked away that switchblade. I let out a sigh, feeling a sting in my back from getting slammed into the wall.
"Nicley done, though...you did hesitate a bit. Could cost you later on." I listened to Levi's words but didn't look at him as I found a chair to sit on. I slumped down, wincing at the pain in my head. 'Ugh...I shouldn't have headbutted him.'
(End Of FlashBack)
"Hmm..that is a lot. I believe that once you showed Levi your actions. He felt sorry for pushing you, I think he was trying to teach you a little lesson. If you feel better I'll personally talk to him that you were frightened fo him. However, I can also sense that he cares about you. You are close, even Hange said she is happy to see that."
"Ha..I guess we are. Hange is special to me, like a sister."
"Yes, you are right. Is there something else troubling you ____?"
"W-well..I am a bit afraid to go back to the house right now...may I stay here...just for tonight?" Erwin leaned back in his chair and sipped his tea. "Of course, it's alright dear. I believe we should tell Levi though, knowing him he's stressing out right now. I'll tell him if you let me?"
I nod my head. "I have a spare room for you, you may use that. Also ____." I looked at Erwin wondering what he was going to say. "Thank you for showing us your era in time. It's lovely."
"No problem sir. I'm glad you like it."
(While I was in bed sleeping)
Erwin was on the phone with Levi.
"That's good then."
"Yes, she is resting right now. She seems exhausted." Erwin spoke to Levi across the phone.
"Oh.., I see." Levi felt a bit ashamed, even his commander had to tell him that. He must be tired himself.
"Also take it easy on her when training, she..told me you frightened her a bit not long ago."
Levi's eyes looked at the ground a bit. A wave of sadness washed over his face. "Of course Erwin."
"Good, once ___ awakens, I'll see if she wants to return tomorrow."
'I'll..have to make it up to her somehow. The brat Eren pissed me off from his past actions.., I wanted ___ to beat him for me. Damn...but I ended up scaring her...'
