a/n: who told Calum he was allowed to do this because damn son

Calum insisted we start on the process the very next day. He was so excited and happy, sure that his plan would work, that I really couldn't say no.

"First things first: dye my hair," he stated, reading out from the list he had composed on his phone. I was spinning around on my desk chair and he was sitting on my bed, but honestly he was bouncing off the walls in excitement. Why he was so excited, I would never understand. "That should be easy enough."

I shrugged. "What colour do you have in mind? I think I have some pink left over, but we can just go next door and pick up whatever you need."

Calum bit his lip. "I don't want to do anything too crazy..."

"Alright, well," I sighed, putting my phone down on my desk. "First things first, we need bleach."

———

"Okay, fuck you, Calum. Now my red jeans have stupid bleach stains on them!"

"It's not my fault you didn't change before doing my hair!" he pointed out, glaring at me playfully before turning back to the mirror. "I don't even know why you like those jeans so much. They're pretty stupid."

I gasped, faking shock. "What?! They're my Josh Ramsay jeans! Do you know how hard it was to find them?"

He rolled his eyes at me, running a hand through his freshly dyed hair. "Thanks for this. It looks really good."

"Yeah, no problem," I grumbled, still a little ticked off about my jeans. Casting them aside, I stepped next to Calum, looking over his hair in the mirror as well. "Not too much blond?"

"Nah mate, I love it," he grinned at me. "Thanks."

"Alright, alright, don't go on about it. That's just one thing on your damn long list. I still don't get why we're going through all this trouble for a boy..." I sighed.

"Look, let's see how he reacts. If he likes it, then we'll keep going with the plan. If he doesn't, well..." Calum's face fell, and I sighed.

"He'll like it," I smiled reassuringly, nudging him. "Now, can we please go play Fifa or something? Thinking about you and Mikey together is kinda starting to get weird."

"Shut up," he muttered, smiling as he punched me in the arm. "Let's go play Fifa."
