a/n: I'm sorry these chapters are so short. I honestly don't have the patience right now to write super long fics/chapters... But maybe this summer!

The following Monday, as I was making my way through the crowded school hallways to get to the art room, Calum grabbed me by the arm and pulled me to the side.

"He said he liked it!" he grinned, his eyes wide with happiness and excitement. "He said it really suited me. It's working Luke!"

I grinned, stopping myself from rolling my eyes. "That's great Cal," I nodded, patting him on the shoulder. "I'll talk to you about it later, yeah? I've really got to get to art."

"Yeah, of course," he grinned. "Thanks again, man."

I just nodded again, and Calum and I both walked away in opposite directions.

Pushing the heavy door to the art room open, I sighed a little to myself. Don't get me wrong, I was totally fine with helping Calum with his "plan", but it just sounded a bit dumb to me. Why would he want to completely change who he is just for a guy? If Michael didn't like Calum romantically the way he was, then maybe they wouldn't be such a great couple.

Eh, whatever. I pushed the thoughts aside as I sat down at my table and pulled out the collage I had to submit later this week, choosing to direct my attention towards that instead of Calum's situation.

However, I found out that you can't always choose what your mind drifts towards. I ended up zoning out, thinking about how weird Calum and Michael would be together, and let me tell you, it would be pretty weird. I wasn't so sure I wanted it to happen, in all honesty, but I couldn't tell Calum that. He would be so upset, and really, there's no harm done. I just hope that he realises this just isn't going to work before anything actually does happen between them two...
