THE NEXT DAY, Olivia went to Oscorp with Gwen again. She had fun exploring last time and thought it could be helpful for something she might face at NASA. Or at least that was the excuse she told Gwen. Anyways, her interview was later this week. She had stayed up all night, preparing for it.

"So, I was thinking that maybe for college I'll major in Astronomy, and either come back to the east coast for MIT, or stay in the west coast and go to Berkeley, or possibly University of Manchester so we can be near each other." Olivia explains as her and Gwen walk in.

Gwen chuckles. "Those are all really great schools. You have a big decision to make. I'll meet you at home. You know how to find your way out of here, right?" She asks.

"I mean we did save New York here like a month ago, so I would hope so." Olivia says.

Gwen rolls her eyes playfully. "I trust you, be good. See you!" She walks off to go work. Olivia waits a second, then quickly rushes off to the computer room. She takes out the keycard she had pickpocketed from a random guy she saw on her way inside and inserts it in the computer, as the password.

She looks around to make sure nobody's watching. Gwen had told her that Max works at Oscorp, so she had to look into him more. Her curiosity got the best of her.

She searches up his name and waits for a few minutes for the computer to find him. Suddenly, the search went blank. Name not found. Olivia's eyebrows furrowed. "What in the-" She tried searching up the name again. Her search had been blocked by someone, twice. Olivia looks up and sees three to four security officers pointing in her direction. She quickly deletes her searches, takes out the keycard and locks the computer, stands up, and confidently struts away. "Hey! Ms. Ramirez!" How the hell did they know her name? She doesn't even work here.

Olivia started speed-walking around the building, trying to find the exit (damn it, Gwen), knowing security was chasing her. She was running in high heels so, she trips, but someone catches her and brings her in close. She looks up and sees Peter. They both smile. "Hi." Olivia says.

"Hey." Peter says.

"What are you doing here?" Olivia asks.

"I should be asking you the same question." Peter says. Olivia quickly spots a closet. She grabs Peter's arms and pulls him inside. She closes the closet. There's small openings where they can see what's happening outside the closet. "She's not here! Check the next floor!" Security says, scattering to find her.

Peter and Olivia share a glance with each other. Peter chuckles and raises his eyebrows, surprised. "You're in trouble."

"Yeah." She laughs.

"Who's their guy?" He asks.

"There was an accident, I think in the genomics department, and they're trying to desperately cover it up and now I found out. Gwen doesn't know yet. And that mutant guy yesterday? Gwen met him. She said he was an electrical engineer here. She also said he was a huge Spider-man fan."

"I didn't get love vibe last night." Peter says. "I got a more he wanted to kill me with his electricity vibe."

Olivia comes to a realization. She tilts her head. "That's actually kinda what's it's like to love you."

"I was searching for him on the computers. I stole a keycard from this guy to access the company files. He's erased. Completely erased. From all the files."

"That's Oscorp." Peter sighs.

"What about you? Why are you here?" Olivia asks.

"Harry." Peter says.

"Osborn?" She asks. She decides against telling him about their meeting.

"He's dying." Peter says.

"What do you mean?" Olivia asks, her eyebrows furrowing.

"He's dying. And he thinks the only thing that's gonna save his life is my blood. Spider-man's blood. And as far as I know, if I give it to him, I could kill him." Peter explains.

"Or worse." Olivia nods.

"Yeah." Peter sighs. "You know, this is the maintenance closet. Liv, this is the most clichè hiding place you could've chosen. This is the stupidest place-"

"I'm sorry I didn't take us to The Bahamas of hiding place-" Olivia says, smiling.

"Listen, I gotta talk to you about California, I guess, because-" Suddenly, Peter leans in and kisses Olivia. Peter cups her face. After a moment, they both pull away.

"You just kissed me." Olivia says.

"I know. I'm sorry, I couldn't help it." Peter says. "How'd you like it?"

"It felt a little bit rushed." Olivia shrugs.

"I know. I know. I know." He says. Then, "This is the plan. You get in the elevator, I'm gonna distract them, okay?"

"Okay." Olivia says. She opens the closet and they both quickly step out of the closet. Security sees Olivia and starts speed walking towards her. Olivia waits for the elevator.

Peter webs a coffee mug from a cart and pulls it back to him. He bumps into the main security guard and spills his burning hot coffee all over him. "Goddamit!" He yells.

"I'm so sorry-" He ducks down to trip another security guard. "I spilled my hot latte-" He stands up and throws up his mug to hit the other security guy. "And you too- oh my god- I'm so sorry." Peter continues to distract the guys.

Olivia smirks and quickly heads inside the elevator. Security looks at Olivia, but it's too late. They try running towards the elevator, but it shuts, right on time. Peter skips off, proud of his actions.

Olivia tries to calm her uneven breathing, processing what just happened. "Olivia Ramirez." She turns around quickly, startled. She sees Harry.

"Oh my god." She says.

"Sorry." They both say.

"No, it's good, I just- I just didn't expect that anybody else was in here."

"I thought you two had broken up."

Olivia pauses. "It's complicated, like you said. I'm trying to figure it out."

"That's why you need each other. To make your choices clear." Harry says.

Suddenly, the elevator's at ground floor. The door opens. "It was nice to see you, again. Harry. Have fun with Gwen tonight. She told me you're going to a Korean meatballs place she loves."

He chuckles. "We are. It was nice to see you."

She quickly walks out the elevator and sighs.

Harry's definitely fucking with her.
