Kaylie is exhausted. They have interviewed the maids for an hour now with no break and it's 11pm. She's sweating like she's in Malibu. She was expecting a normal party. A normal, classy dinner party where everyone is having fun and eating good food.
[Kaylie] How many maids are left?
[Lucia] 4 I believe.
[Kaylie] Can we go to sleep after we've questioned them?
[Matt] Maybe. But I don't think anyone will be getting sleep tonight. We should keep investigating till the police get here but.. ok.
They bring in a maid called Anastasia.
[Kaylie] Go on Anastasia, tell us the truth!
You look like someone who would murder people!
Anastasia starts crying under the pressure. Kaylie stares at her angrily.
[Lucia] Did you do it Anastasia?
[Anastasia] No! Of course not!
[Matt] I can't tell wether she's lying or not. We should keep her in mind in case more murders occur.
They let Anastasia out and she runs away like a crazy person while hopelessly crying.
[Kaylie] Are we ever gonna find our answer?
Lucia sighs and walks out the room. She tiptoes in her room, trying not to get the killer's attention. She locks the door and quietly sobs. She grabs an old picture. It's her and her husband on their wedding day.
[Lucia] Oh, how I wish you were still here.
She hugs the picture and cries even more.
She hears Matt calling her from downstairs. She puts down the faded photograph and sneaks back downstairs.
[Matt] Oh, Lucia, you're here! We need to continue the investigation!
[Lucia] Yes of course. Who's next?
They bring in a young maid called Maria.
[Matt] Oh Maria. Virgin Mary. Lovely Maria-
[Lucia] Stop it already, Maria? Did you do it? Or do you have anything to do with the murders?
[Maria] No! Of course not, why would I kill random rich people? As if I would get anything out of that-
[Kaylie] What do you mean by that?
[Maria] What do you mean?
[Kaylie] Your talking like a psychopath, that's all. Your only talking about money and how you wouldn't do it because you "won't get anything out of it", not caring at all that two people have died today.
Maria sits silently. She sighs.
[Maria] Ok. I gave a key to the room with the knife collection to someone. I don't know who I gave it to. The person was wearing a mask and a black hoodie.
They paid me a lot of money to do it.
[Kaylie] When did you give the key?
[Maria] Today.
[Kaylie] But that means..
[Lucia] It could have been basically anyone in here!
[Matt] Oh no..
